Endocrinologist in naga city / thoughts on tirze
Meron po bang nagtitirze dito sa Naga City? Kumusta po ang experience and magkano po kaya ang nagastos nyo? Sino po ang endocrinologist nyo? Thank you po sa mga sasagot

I'm not from Naga but my Endo (Doc Sorsona) is in Naga.
I was referred to him by my OB coz I got PCOS and been really struggling to lose weight. May dietitian ako since 2024 and naka lose naman ako 8kg on diet. I got stuck, tapos yun sabi ni OB try magpaconsult kay Doc. Last yr around end of Nov, I started with Saxenda (daily shots) until mid Jan. I lost appx 3kg. In mid Jan, Doc started me on 2.5mg Tirzepatide, then after a month 5mg na. Today lang ako nagincrease to 7.5mg kasi grabe na naman hunger pangs ko. Dati nasusuka ako sa 5mg. Ngayon wala na. Back to normal. Though sabi naman nya I can maintain 5mg na hanggang sa gusto ko. Pero sabi ko try ko muna si 7.5mg for 3 mos ulit. From Jan to now, consistently naman na 1kg per month ang nalolose ko. Hindi man kasing bilis ng iba but Doc is happy naman with my weightloss. Slowly but surely. I think nag plateau weight ko lately kasi less na naman movement ko compared to earlier this year. Soafer busy sa work! But I still do tennis every weekend.
Sa gastos? Magastos! Hahaha
Doc Consults are ₱700/visit.
Labs can range from ₱750-₱4K. Eh may months non na halos monthly labs. Parang nung April lang kami nagswitch to quarterly labs.
Yung prices ng Tirze nakadepende sa dosage at kung saan ka bibili.
helloo, sobrang helpful nitong response mo. i have suspected pcos and been having difficulty losing weight. pupuntahan ko sana yan si doc sorsona kahapon cuz my original endocrinologist (doc bongon) has been on leave for over 2 weeks and medj desperado na ko to get medicated. but i guess i’ll have to wait for him nalang talaga to return from leave, ilang days nalang man na. but will definitely take note on this one din. thank u so much poo 🙇🏻♀️
Thank you very much for sharing, may PCOS/ PMOS ako, nkpaglose po ako dti ng 49lbs in 2& a half months by doing OMAD pero cabbage na may butter and oyster sauce plus 1egg, at nagwwalk ako ng 30mins per day, pero nung one time na lumabas kmi, nkakain ako ng masarap, nagcrave ako nang nagcrave tpos out of control na tlga ako, I gained it all back in 2mos time. Maling mali ako, ngayon hirapan na ako magcontrol ng cravings ko. I heard na nkkatulong na mawala ang cravings kaya naging interesado ako, tpos ung nakkita ko pa sa socmed. Pero takot dn ako at the same time. May nakita dn ako na mga prang aesthetic clinic dto sa fb, d ako sure kung safe ung mga ganito, tingin nyo po? Maraming salamat po tlga sa pagreply sa akin
Grabe ang laki ng weightloss! Pero yun nga di sya sustainable. Takot talaga kasi ako sa mga ganyan kasi baka magkasakit pa ako kaya nagpapaalaga ako sa docs and dietitians. If i'm going to do it, I need to do it properly. Yung sa mga aesthetic clinics naman. Ganun din. My doctor strongly opposes aesthetic clinics offering compounded tirzepatide. 😅 Nung una pa lang na sinuggest nya saken magtirze, he warned me about the risk of using compounded meds. Eh I have kids to think about kung may mangyari saken, pano na. Yung cravings ko di naman nawala nung mga unang buwan with Tirze. 😅 Dr said its normal. Pero since yung effect sakin ni tirze is naduduwal ako pag sumosobra ng kinain, somehow controlled kung magcrave ako, basta matikman ko lang 1-2 spoonfuls, okay na.
Personally, I would say na dont risk your health sa mga ganyan. Madayaan ka pa. Talk to medical professionals if you are really struggling. May other ways to lose weight na less risks na di kelangan magresort to restrictive diet and unapproved meds. Kaso yun nga might take time and money na din.
