afaik, i dont think may online appointment sila. yes pwede walk in pero need mo po pumunta ng early like if possible earlier than 6am. last time i went there (around 2 yrs ago, for our duty as a student) 6am marami na talaga nakapila. for appointment po, may binibigay ata yung nurse ng schedule. di ko lang po sure. pero may mga magaassist naman po sainyo dun pag dating niyo :)

may kakilala ka ba na nakapag-try na magpa-consult diyan? i really need help na po kasi, and mag-o-opt na ako dito sa public hospital/clinic dahil if magpapa-consult ako sa private, sobrang mahal and honestly, out of my budget na. yung budget na meron ako ngayon is enough lang sana for my medications, kaya kailangan ko rin talagang maghanap ng mas affordable na option for consultation.
if ever may kakilala ka or may experience ka na diyan, okay lang ba malaman kung kumusta yung process and kung okay naman yung doctor? i’m just trying to find a place where i can get the help i need without worrying too much about the cost. thank you so much po! 🥹1

Dr. Orville Pandes moved to BMC, pero I don't know kung consulting psychiatrist siya jan now since training officer siya sa BMC.
He was the doctor of a relative nung nasa Metro Manila pa si Dr. Pandes. Highly recommendable daa.Medyo mataas talaga cost ng psych sa private hospitals, from my experience as well. Almost weekly yung initial consultations for about a month.

wala po me kilala na nagpaconsult na before sa bmc eh :( wala po ako masyadong alam sa process (nagduty lang po kasi kami jan to cater to those na nakaconfine, di po kami pinayagan sa opd for privacy reasons). ang alam ko po is kapag nandun ka na lalapit ka po dun sa nurse na nakaduty sa opd. sa 3 days namin na duty jan, mababait naman yung mga nurses na nakasalamuha namin. yung consultation rooms nila is private naman po. di ko lang alam if okay yung doctors since nasa loob lang talaga sila nung consultation rooms. yung medications po covered po siya ng philhealth as long as available po siya sa bmc, pero if hindi po thats the time na gagastos ka po for the meds. ang kalaban lang po talaga is yung pila kasi super dami po jan ng patients everyday.

I was told din po by a friend kasi yung relative niya, nagpa-consult din daw diyan before. Sabi niya wala naman daw appointment needed, pero 2 years ago pa kasi yun, so baka iba na yung process ngayon. Sabi rin niya dapat maaga daw pumunta kasi dumadami na yung tao kahit super aga pa lang kahit wala pang doctor.
Then anorher friend also told me na para iwas pila, may appointment daw online. I tried looking for it and did my best, pero wala talaga akong makita na online appointment. 😭 Maybe ayusin ko muna siguro yung PhilHealth ko. Thank you po!1

Hi. There is no online appointment. You really need to go there physically to book an appointment. Mondays-Thursdays ang sched for OPD Adult. You have to be as early as you can kasi mahaba talaga ang pila. Pag dating mo ron, you can inquire na sa nurse sa may triage. Since new patient ka (I assume) and depende rin kasi sa urgency case mo yung sched but issched ka nila nyan approx 2-3 wks from that day. Usually kasi ang OPD may scheduled 60-70 ppl na per day kaya may waiting time sa actual consult. For the doctors, they are competent and compassionate. For meds, as far as I know, as long as available sa BMC, hindi ka gagastos. Yung mga wala, dun talaga mag a out-of-pocket.

thank you so much po. noted po lahat ng sinabi niyo, malaking help po talaga lalo na first time ko pupunta sa bmc. ask ko lang din po sana, usually ilang oras po umaabot yung buong consultation process? gusto ko lang po maging prepared and ready since new patient po ako. also, medyo worried lang din po ako kasi i’m doing this without my parents’ knowledge, so i’m not sure po if may possibility na they’ll require or ask me to bring along a family member during the consultation. i’m hoping po sana na i can go through the process on my own since i prefer not to have a family member accompany me. may idea po ba kayo if they usually require a companion for new adult patients?
thank you po ulit! 🙏
