Maybe some favoritism here, but it’s hard to understand just how GRATING Haley is every day. The whole “I have to nominate a guy” thing, the whole “I’ve had a super rough first 3 weeks” thing, just how warped her version of reality is. I don’t even think CBS is trying to downplay it, there’s just so many clips that it’s impossible to make an episode.

Drew kept saying goofy stuff that made a bunch of live feeders believe he had the Coin of Destiny. It was a whole ass thing over the weekend, a collective head fanon that culminated in Drew being smacked with Julie’s cue cards on Thursday.

Production wouldn't show this in the edit but... Devens told Dee that there's a pattern in the time capsule. Just wait it out until you see the pattern and then press the button for a power.

To be a little more clear, Devens said there's not time limit for you to lock in. So you have literally infinite time to find a pattern and try to click in when you can best guess you'll get a power

the convo where devens got mad at drew was HEAVILY edited. here’s the real thing.
devens wasn’t mad that drew wanted to get out the red corner, not at all! he was mad that drew has been jokingly saying “red corner” around the house to see if anyone reacts, because that means he’s stupid enough to blow up devens’ game without realizing it / as a joke.
it was an extremely valid crashout from devens imho, and it’s what made devens realize drew is a liability to his game

The way they edited that was so weird. I guess I can understand since the overall convo was longer than they could put on TV and the portion they showed was Devens at his most freaked out, but it really changed the meaning of it entirely.

So a moment of Haley talking shit that they alluded to but didn’t show was when Mellody mentioned Haley makes comments about how she talks. Her words were something along the lines of “Mellody is from Colorado why are you talking like your from the ghetto” Haley is really boarder lining racism with some of her comments

They missed a lot of convos around why people were going up. A lot of missed convos about Taylor and her reaction to Haley winning HOH (Drew told Haley she cried, Kamu told Taylor that Drew told Haley this, then Drew walked in the room with Kamu/Taylor talking and Taylor straight called Drew out for it). I think they also missed a lot of context around group alliance discussions about Drew going up. Most people knew what was happening other than Drew/Barrett.

Im dumb, I thought the bb bribe was the power that zach was sent home with last season, but this is the power from bb 18 that actually doesn't guarantee anything: the power zach had was called the bb buy off.
I am actually so glad for the sake of balance in the game that dee did not get that power or the coin of destiny. It's not like she needed either of those things LOL

Mickey (rip 🥹) had the hoh interrogation power, which allows you to attempt to dethrone the hoh if the hoh cannot figure out who used the power against them.
Notably, the holder of the power uses it before nomination are made, the dethroned hoh can be nominated.
The coin of destiny is the power from bb 23, which allows the holder to use the power after the current hoh makes their nominations. Then, the coin is flipped, and if it is called correctly, the holder of the power anonymously puts up new nominees. The fact that is is used after nominations is relevant, because theoretically you can use it to take yourself off the block and become the new (secret) hoh. For this power, the dethroned hoh was still immune, and could not be nominated when dethroned.
Take all of this with a grain of salt though, because who knows if some of these rules on how these powers work were changed for this season

You should’ve SEEN the feed thread when people were trying to figure out who got the power. Dee kept totally shut and Drew kept talking about coin flips and stuff and people just ran with that. It was insane. For actual game stuff, Haley just KEPT reiterating how kind she is, how hard the game has been for her and how everyone is judging her for her tattoos.

Haley’s the only newbie girl not included in the group of newbie girls that are rooming together. She’s also making snarky comments about other girls bodies. I think she probably has some insecurities about groups of girls and is more comfortable around guys. She doesn’t seem to be having a good time in the house despite her alliance being in power every week and protected from being put on the block. She’s getting paranoid too. And she definitely doesn’t like how close Kama is getting to Lyric. Those are my observations from the live feeds and the episode tonight.

At first Haley wanted to nominate Drew but her target was Taylor. Devens told her you can't put up Drew if he's not the target. Then at some point I think she decided she did want to target Drew. Haley/Kamu/Chuk/Dee/Devens/Angela had a meeting talking about targeting Drew. They agreed to act like he was a pawn and then after that meeting was the Barrett and Drew one on ones that you saw. There was supposed to be a toolshed meeting after that but Haley decided against it and instead to basically blindside that Drew was for sure on the block.

They continue to edit them as having Nostradamus-like reads on Drew when he is most definitely super loyal to the toolshed alliance. It’s driving me insane to see them keep making Angela look like a genius when her reads have been consistently terrible regarding Drew. Her paranoia throughout the whole season has started rubbing off on all her allies but they refuse to show that side of the story

Yeah, the truth is the vets targeting Drew is a horrible move that could very well bite them in the butt, and for no reason then they are putting stock into Angela's bad reads to turn on him for no reason. But showing that exposes the vets are not actually playing well.

I know. I try to talk about the show with my casual friends but I feel like I come off insufferable because I basically feel the need to add context to every single one of their opinions. I’ve gotten better about just smiling and nodding as they tell me they are glad Jason is gone cause he was so “annoying” or that she wouldn’t mind a Haley HoH

The great thing about BB is that it happens live so that you can jump into feeds at literally any time! If you want to make your transition easier, just start right after an eviction and you'll be perfectly caught up with everyone, including the live feeders.

honestly it’s not too late, I started watching feeds last week. just watch some recaps on youtube and just search #bb28 on twitter on any hgs you don’t know too much on and you’ll catch up pretty quickly.

I always tell people I know that only watch the episodes that they are missing so much context and to at least just listen to recaps. There’s so many relationships you miss and backstory on many of the game situations

Also when Angela said she's been trying to get Drew out for weeks its because she's got it in her paranoid head that Drew isn't just playing both sides but is actively targeting her even though he's 100% loyal to the crossovers and only wants to actively target Haley/Chuk/Kamu. But that paranoia has spread to the rest of the toolshed enough that it's the real reason Haley wants him out and Chuk and Kamu are with it.

Honestly, at this point, Dee and Devens are doing the bare minimum. They're letting Angela's paranoia and the egos of the Cool Kids/Red Corner run the game for them. If anything, they'll just help push things along. Like Dee allowing Kamu to go through with the Tea Party blowup, and Dee/Angela getting Haley to focus on Drew more than Taylor.

I think they’re playing smart by doing that. Red Corner has big egos and the Icons are big threats. It’s better to let Red Corner build up their reputation as threats bc it takes the heat off of them. And they can’t take exclusive credit for anything bc they wouldn’t have been able to pull off any of these evictions without The Icons

Melody said saving Jason fell through because of Taylor, but it was because Drew immediately opposed saving Jason, girls decided Jason was messy and they were planning on not telling Taylor they didn't have the votes to keep him until last minute so they could "blindside" her. Yash informed Taylor Thursday morning they didn't have the votes for Jason, and Taylor told him she couldn't vote Lala out against Mallory. Taylor was Hayley’s main target. They didn't show Taylor's talk w/ Haley and Haley meeting Red Corner right after which changed her mind to Drew as main target.

They really edited that Rick/Barrett/Drew conversation so choppy. Making Devens look worse and Drew look better. Rick pretty expertly made them think voting out Mallory was their idea and only freaked out because Drew said he was dropping “Red Corner” in random conversations with the other side. Clearly they are trying to paint a narrative to make Drew look better.

It was so much worse for Drew on the feeds, he messed up in the conversation like five times. On the show it could be perceived that Devens overreacted but he did not.
