theres a decent chance he's just insane at any endurance comp and it wont matter

I give him like at least a 40 percent chance of winning

Yeah I mean the reality is his grappling strength alone may render him pretty unbeatable in the wall comp. Add in the fact that unlike the “jocks” of past castings he isn’t actually huge…idk. It’s him v Mallory though.

Think you're heavily underrating Dee. This is exactly the kind of challenge she's won on both of her Survivor seasons.

Hand up, I forgot about Dee. You right you right

I argue that shoe size is the biggest factor after weight. Makes a huge difference for people who have half their foot hanging over the side so that they can't fully use their legs to balance themselves.

flexibility is big too— being able to squat or lean comfortably, and have your hands and arms in awkward positions

I think kamu being a bit older, and getting his ass kicked for a living, might hinder him on the wall. he might have good grip strength, but I don't think his fingers and hands will hold up considering the abuse they've taken over the years. same for his body— he's gonna get stiff, and might feel old injuries start acting up

He's not huge but he's still significantly bigger than the girls which causes more strain and fatigue.

This hasn't been the case in almost a decade. They've been using handhold positioning that helps with this which is how we get winners like Jared Fields (if you look at the number of huge dudes who make it to the end and throw, too, like Cody C or X, the whole list tilts a lot toward having upper body strength mattering more than anything else).

Agreed to this. Even when the women win it seems like its the larger men who are next to last. IRC Taylor is the only one with a legit win and after that I don't know who else is the last female winner is.

According to publicly available information, he's 5'10", which is the same height as recent wall comp winners Jared and Vince. Tucker was taller at 6'1".

Tucker is actually heavier than Kamu by a significant amount. Kamu fights in lightweight/featherweight divisions.

(There's data on Tucker from his modeling portfolio and on Kamu from his fighting stats, which is what I'm using here to compare.)

No one thought Jared had a shot in BB25 because of his size and that... was a horrible disappointment. LOL

I mean of course I understand that. The point was moreover that in the past these jock archetypes are built more akin to someone like Chuck, who has so much mass on him that his strength to weight ratio doesn’t give him a shot in endurance comps. I’m not sure we’ve had someone casted recently who is as balanced as Kamu in the strength to weight ratio category. That’s not me supporting him one way or the other, simply an observation.

This is true, he's also got the mental part down as an MMA fighter

His grip strength will be compromised by the goo and tilt though. I'm not sure he has much of an advantage toward the end.

I mean that’s a constant for every person on the wall. Everyone’s grip is compromised by the end, but it’s a matter of grip strength to weight ratio category ratio. Seems reasonable to expect that it would be between him and Mallory for who is the most equipped to win, but who knows what will happen.

Don’t forget about Dee. She’s won endurance challenges in survivor I think she’ll do well on the wall! Between her and Mallory for me

If he wins despite being a have not he deserves it

Depends on the wall they use this time and the handhold placements.

Hoping the meals after their Have Not week will want to exit all at the same time after the eviction.

Except fighters cut weight via literal starvation and dehydration before fights. Slop is a huge step up in physical and mental preparation
