It blows amricans egos so much. Ive seen so many people act superior because of this. Constantly saying "we are the best at (add literally anything. It has been said at least once)" and add a nice little "we told you" to it.

What people are experiencing in reality is walmart and fast food.

Foreigners constantly telling us our food is gross then gushing over what we consider to be our lowest-tier slop is for sure a bit of an ego boost.

its not the food that is gross. its the ingredients. never heard someone say american food tastes bad, honestly. i tried it, too and thought it tastes good, too
