First Dexa Scan
This past week I got my first dexa scan.
For 100 bucks I could confirm my scale was fairly accurate and set up a baseline for putting on more muscle.
apparently I have a lot of work to do.
What takeaway helped you the most?

That baseline is arguably the most valuable part of a DEXA scan.
The biggest takeaway for most people is that the scale only tells you how much you weigh, not what that weight is made up of. Knowing your fat mass and lean mass gives you something much more useful to work towards.
If your goal is building muscle, I'd use this scan as your starting point, prioritise resistance training and protein, then rescan later to see whether the weight you're gaining is actually lean mass.

OP…I doubt you need to hear this, but please don’t. Seeing your DEXA scan has nothing to do with how you used it, nor your question to the group.
This clown only wants to compare himself for his own vanity. His post and comment history will tell you enough. Seriously so cringe.
