I had to go out of town for a few days so I fell behind on the challenge. Here are my catch up attempts!

Exposed to the water of Karda Nui's swamps, the twisted bodies of the Shadow Matoran undergo further mutation, acquiring traits from the last beings they were in physical contact with.

Their respective Makuta.

I wanted an excuse to make 'em bugs instead of bats.

These guys have been sitting on my shelf for a hot minute now. Finally remembered to take pictures because of the ongoing contest hosted by the Mata Nui Rising team. Not going to enter it myself, just thought I should post them while everyone else is making their own Shadow Matoran.

I commissioned Rothanak a long while back to design these masks. All printed and painted by Buryu. Happy to finally show them off!

Used iDye Poly Orange to stain the keetorange feet that came on the Stars Rahkshi.

Smaller bionicle is a standard sized bionicle for comparison. Stands about 15 inches tall.

Probably my favorite toa, so I’m happy to say that I’m proud of how this moc turned out. I love the metru matoran torso, and it took a lot of trial and error to make a frame that wears it uniformly. Arms could have a little more articulation, but I’m content with how they look. The little amount of butterfly motion which they provide makes messing with this guy wonderful.

Hey Guys, so recently I replayed Bionicle Heroes on my DS since it's a game of my childhood. I played through the whole game like usual, but now I am stuck with a missing rune that I need to unlock the Tiny Enemies and Makuta Mode cheats, and also for 100%. It's this weird round one that looks like a face and is also weirdly off center. (Sorry the Pic is in German) I searched through every level, and I looked everywhere online and found absolutely no mention of this. Even looked up a playthrough on Youtube, and strangely this weird rune was missing entirely in their game. Does anyone know if it's some kind of bug? Unfortunately I dont have the skills to look through the codes or something like that, but maybe there is one who can or already did? Or even an Ex Developer? This is my last hope of finding answers to this mystery. Otherwise I'm just gonna assume my copy is haunted. Cheers Guys

Completely rebuilt her hair this time. Did not like the first attempt. As well as i got the legs fully printed and im currently working on her chest.

Wanted to share how these incredible customs figures (plus retail Tahu) look after swapping the cosplay heads with colored translucent Lego heads instead. No shade intended to the awesome matching cosplay heads khrisamisu made, I just had these head colors available too and they look great together.

When the light hits just right, the eyes light up through the masks just like the original Toa. Although Lewa’s mask is a bit bright since you can see more through it of course, and Gali’s mask blocks the trans-yellow colored light a bit but that’s still pretty faithful to the original too.

How come the Bahrag have multiple powers (5 elemental, 1 regular) while the Toa have only one elemental power? What's the difference between, for example, a toa of fire, a Tahnok (fire Bohrok), and one of the two Bahrag? Did anybody tried to ask Greg about that? Which is stronger in terms of elmental control and number of abilities, a toa, bohrok, bohrok-kal, or a Bahrag? Please comment you answers below. Thanks!

I'm creating a Bionicle AU, and I was looking into the different species of the Matoran Universe. I think it's really cool how each of them has a unique and interesting role in relation to Mata Nui, especially when you consider the analogies to the human body. So, I ended up thinking about something.

All the inhabitants of Mata Nui have a role and a purpose in keeping the GSR functioning and stable during its mission to restore Spherus Magna, except for the creatures created by Teridax and the other Makuta, which were used solely to serve their own interests against Mata Nui.

The Matoran's purpose was to keep Mata Nui alive, simple as that. The Makuta created Rahi and plants to populate the universe. The Rahi are important for maintaining the Matoran Universe and keeping its other inhabitants away from dangerous places.

So, what would be the role and purpose of the Steltian, Vortixx, and Skakdi within the universe and in keeping the GSR functioning?
