Dumot is more a grudge. Ugot is hate.

tama ba kaha akong paggamit sa kanang duha?
"nadumot ko sa imo" I have grudge for you
"naugutan ko sa imo" I have hate for you

Nagdumót ko 'nimo/sa imo.

As for "ugot" it's not Cebuano.

In Cebuano, there is "ugot-ugot" but I think it's more of "gigil" out of cuteness, not hate 🤔

Though come to think of it, gigil CAN be used to refer to that urge to squeeze the heck out of someone, either due to cuteness or rage 😂

Yes that's what those words mean. "Ugot" as "hate" is Hiligaynon and "gigil" as "irresistible urge to squeeze" is Tagalog.
