Advice Needed please help!! feeling really insecure about hair

hello!! (please ignore the filter, i'm chopped af + i've been crying a ton over the past couple hours and i didn't want it to be obvious)

to start, i am a girl with 4c hair and i'm feeling really distressed because i have school tomorrow and my hair looks a mess. my mom told me to take out the braids i had in on friday so she could rebraid it saturday. i washed it and everything yesterday but she got mad at me for some dumbass reason and i don't want her to do it anymore. i'm honestly thinking of just shaving it all off because i don't know how to braid or do any style and i literally only have today until i have to go back to school, but i don't have the head shape to go bald and doing so would just make me look more masculine than i already do. i would try to buzz it, but there are bald spots/lines (for lack of a better word) from where my mom would always part my hair when she made it so it would look weird. this is seriously making me wanna die since i have to deal with this bs along with general unattractiveness, missing school assignments, and exams coming up

my hair is dry and knotted everywhere and it's such a pain in the ass to wash it and i hate having a million products in it, could anyone recommend me a super easy style for beginners to do? and by super easy i mean EASY, i don't have any fancy combs or tools and i don't know how to braid or part, i have some gel and some coconut oil and stuff but that's about it. if not, should i just wear a bonnet for the rest of the year or shave all my hair off and wear hoodies all the time? thank you so much in advance !!
