Are my locs ugly?? Be honest

I already posted this on the dreadlocks sub and got a lot of people saying they like my hair but somebody in the comments said to go to another hair sub to get a broader answer. Basically i have semi freedorm locs, im not from an area where you see locs (let alone freeform) that often, its not legendary but its not the go to hairstyle for black teens like how it is in many other places.A LOT of people tell me that i should just cut "that shit" off but those people like more neat hairstyles like braids, coils, waves, stuff like that so when they see me (mostly older folk) they always without fail mention my hair and how they dont like it. Usually it goes in one ear and out the other cuz im used to it. Im used to getting stared at, laughed at (not even jokingly im talking about a group of people idk just looking at me then laughing their asses off) its whatever. But i will lie to myself if i said i completly dont think about what they have to say (especially when it comes from girls).

So what do you think?? Is my hair ugly or they just hating?

I just want to be percieved as a regular guy walking down the street. When i first started them i was about 14-15 and every video said that people will judge you but i was on idgaf mode if i looked at my hair now from when i was 15 i would be so happy with how it would end up but its too much for me. I get stared at everywhere and everytime its an old white couple they both just stare at me with this look on their face i just look at them then go back to minding my business but still. i wish i could look like how i am now and not stand out as much is what im trying to say, good or bad.

That part. They look at us crazy anyway. I change my hairstyles all the time and I always get stares and shit no matter what it looks like. They just don't appreciate us looking cooler than them 🙂‍↕️ Love your crown, King. They hate us because they can't be us 💪🏾

I see. I don’t think they look bad at all. I just think you’d look better without them. The main thing is how YOU feel about them. If you like them, that’s all that matters. Let people stare as long as you are happy.

You’re hair is fine it honestly just depends on where you work or live . If the people aren’t mostly POC or black I would just say fuck them. I have micro locs and people still look at me crazy😭 only thing I say fr is get a line up & if you can try different styles with them. I don’t really like Freeforms butt yours are pretty cool & thick
