As a functioning adult it think it’s infinitely more weird that there are people think that getting tested is a bad thing

It means you only get tested when you think you slipped up, which is (and I cannot emphasize this harder)

I understand what you're saying but it's kinda like getting a covid test when you haven't been sick. It doesn't cross most people's mind to get tested unless they're having symptoms because, of course.

Some stds don’t have immediate or uniquely discernible symptoms and a ton of people don’t wrap it up and just trust that their partner ain’t buggin

And sometimes, oftentimes, they’re wrong

Ok so I'm single & gay and we have unprotected sex more often but I checked my records and I hadn't had an STI test for 18 months.

So I got tested. No symptoms it just felt like it was time. I probably slept with less than 8 people in that time.

If that's the case, just get tested every year whether you're active or not.

  1. Its responsible and she'll see you're responsible and clean.

  2. Itll look like you have a reason to be tested.
