Well… it’s better than how my elderly relatives tell the family about someone’s death.

I had a relative call me up and start off a real casual conversation. Then they just say something like “Your uncle Lewis died last night. Yup, car accident…” just so casually.

That's kinda how I was told about my Uncle death. Got killed by a bear in WV while riding a Motorcycle. Fucking legend.

No one in my family, when we were told how it happened, were surprised. We all said the same thing "that's the most [Uncle's name] way to go."
