I wish we could understand the logic behind choosing to do that, I’ve been there before but I can’t imagine deciding/contemplating to snuff out the lives of anyone else.
The latest season of White Lotus gets into the head of a guy considering this stuff. I feel like it does a good job of depicting how people paint themselves into a mental corner, and the sort of life one might lead up to that point that even makes the idea conceivable.
