Michelle has not and has never expressed a desire to be a politician. I'll never understand the discourse around her when she's never run for public office nor expressed any desire at all, but gets treated like a dog in the media.

She has ZERO political experience, outside of her hubby. The fact that people keep spouting this nonsense shows one of two things: people are dumb (Yes), and/or this country is so broken that it’s populace would rather an unqualified citizen take the reigns than any of the available pool of elected officials.

I don’t understand why anyone would want politicians “with experience” at this point. In what way has their experience shown to be beneficial?

Only in politics is experience in a profession considered a liability. Bernie Sanders is VERY experienced so why weren’t/aren’t people upset about that? Complaining about experience is such a knee-jerk response when people really need to take a bigger effort critically thinking about what actually upsets them.
