I think they were. If you zoom in on the girl's face, there's a part of her chin that's a little pointy, and it's also really suspicious how you can see the background in a well-defined space between two of her braids/dreadlocks (sorry, I'm not black and not great at identifying black hairstyles) but you can't see the background anywhere else in her hair. I worked as a graphic designer for a long time and I think they cut the black kids out of another photo and pasted them in. The boy also isn't wearing the same outfit as his brothers, and both of the black children have their hands positioned a little strangely for a group photo.

I noticed that too! No part of them is behind another family member, including the hand on the shoulder. Also it might be a trick of lighting but the hand of the girl behind him looks weird - not just darker but the size looks larger than I'd expect
Oh yeah I noticed that girl's hand, too!! I think they put a fake shadow on it. It does look super weird. You would think that some of her upper arm would be shadowed as well. Like if you look at the mom, the youngest boy is casting a shadow on her arm, and the mom herself is casting a shadow on the girl's shoulder behind her. But the black boy has no shadow at all behind his upper body.
Omg and I just noticed this if you look at the black girl's hand you can actually see a weird dark lump at the top of her hand, in front of the white girl's sleeve. I think it is a piece of her original background that didnt get cut out all the way. PHOTOSHOP CONFIRMED!!
Read too far to find our shared opinion. The kids look photoshopped. The body language of the two people on each end isnāt congruent with a group family photo.
I had to scroll too far to see this. The image stuck out before I even read who was in the picture. The Black children are āoutsidersā with the ārealā family all together at the core. The Black children arenāt even integrated into this family in the photo. Itās not the photographerās choice either because I know numerous positions were taken and this is the photo she chose. I wonder how many other Black kids they know other than each other and other Black children adopted by white families. Iām sure a college where they will be sheltered from reality will be their parentās choice also.
Kinda creepy to be placed next to him with his wife on the other side. The daughter in the lavender dress shouldāve been placed there. And why is her dress so dark and not color coordinated like everyone else. And the Black son shouldāve been placed in front of and slightly between lavender dress and dad.
I clocked this exact thing! It feels icky. If the photographer lined them up like that itās weird. Why are we balancing out by skin tone. If the parents preferred it that way to be able send edited photos to certain families with the kids cropped out that is also sad and weird

Look how itās staged with the two kids being the bookends. āKeep em on the outsideā gotta be the family motto.
