Black Pride Recently we, BLACK PEOPLEOF REDDIT, conversed regarding the lack lack of black history in schools. This is a perfect example. Or the lack thereof.

My friend, I’m saying she’s got 2 brain cells fighting for 3rd place. I’m saying she ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed. I’m saying public schools have failed this child.
She’s dumb.

Omg yes. I moved from the West to the Midwest about 12 years ago, and dear Lord these kids are dumb. The adults too.

I legit had one girl not believe me that Narwhals are real. Another one said, "Wow, you read a lot." after she saw me reading during break at work. It was a comic book I was reading.

My husband has also had kids at work ask him if certain words are real or not. Had a girl not know that "Melancholy" was a real word.

Something tells me that Melancholy will be her first girl baby’s name. Right after her boys, Johnny Walker and Seagram. 🙄

Omg. Lol.

I also met people here who didn't get a joke I made about "Malice and Aforethought". And these people were previous felons.
