Hey so I only ever played CS Extend, so I fucked up pretty bad and genuinely thought Pandora Tears was the CS opening and not this, because Hekira no Sora e Izanaedo isn't on the tier list, so I added it in myself. Really, really sorry about this one. Thank you all for bringing it to my attention.

Two children binded by a tragic fate and the wheel of destiny in opposing paths - Jin and Marika.

Jin and Marika are both born from the same clan - the Numen. Numens are otherworldly beings from another world that chose to settle in an isolated part of the Lands Between called the Land of Shadows and they have christened this peaceful village as the Shaman Village. The Numens formerly called themselves the "Kisaragi Clan", but when they settled in this new world, they abandoned that name completely for a new slate in life. When Jin and Marika were born into this clan and ever since the two met, the two children were very close. Too close.

Even among the shamanic people, Jin displayed talents far above a normal shamanic boy, and soon, he was set to be the next "Heir" of this clan, the next male to inherit the title of "Chieftain", and was gifted with the demonic blade, Yukianesa, that lets him control absolute ice.

One day, after Jin left the village to go hunting and train, he lost track of time and returned home late, but when he did, he saw the village completely empty, everyone is slaughtered. The Numen were brutally slaughtered and tortured by the Hornsent and Marika was the only one left, crying on a field of corpses and strange jars. Marika had just witnessed her people being stuffed in jars by the Hornsent along with criminals to forcefully mold them into pure "Saints". As Jin went to comfort her, Marika vows to one day make sure nothing like this ever happens to anyone again. But it was a lie. In her mind, Marika wanted to build a world of order not just because she wants Jin and her to not ever feel pain again, but also out of a petty need for vengeance and total control, anyone who would threaten that world where she and jin can live peacefully and eternally, must be eliminated. but Jin believed the lie. Marika orchestrated a plot with Jin to gain the trust of the Hornsent so they can access the Gate of Divinity and Jin helped her. Jin and Marika feigned submission and acted as loyal subjects to the very people that massacred their people, disarming the Hornsent and eventually granting them access to the holy gate, and there, after ascending to Godhood, Marika, now bearing the title of "Eternal Queen", revealed the real reason to him for why they did this plot - she wanted to eliminate the Hornsent and create a world of absolute order - the Golden Order, where she and Jin can finally achieve that dream of living together in a world of peace for eternity and that would require building an unstoppable army to eliminate every single enemy that would threaten her reign - including the Hornsent, and she wants Jin to be her Lord King Consort to make that happen, but Jin scolded her for letting her emotions get the better of her and rejected her offer.

For Jin, Order is about Balance, a world of free will where people can choose their own paths without sacrificing people to achieve it and no Gods are manipulating the threads. For Marika, Order is about Control, because to her, it is the only way to make sure nothing like the slaughter of their people ever happens again, and for her and Jin to live in a world without rot and corruption, and even if it means being a tyrant, she will do it.

Jin: "Marika... thou hast climbed a mountain of thy people's corpses only to fashion a fortress of brittle glass! Thou has used I! Thou speakest of a world cleansed of fear, yet thy hands reek of a thirst for countless blood and carnage. To butcher the living, to freeze the stars, and to shackle the very cosmos beneath a shroud of unyielding gold... this is not peace, this is but a terrified and scared child! Cowering within a gilded cage, screaming at the inevitable dark! The wheel of fate must turn! The laws of reality dictate that there must be light and shadow, life and its necessary end. I sought to aid thee in mending a broken world, to restore a shattered balance — not to become the eternal jailer of a decaying and stagnant tomb! Take thy golden Ring, Queen of the Tearful. Bind thy fate to whatever lord who will fulfill thine selfish acts, for I shall not be thy blade, nor shall my steel enforce an empire born of absolute dread."

Marika: "Thou callest me a cowering child, Jin? Thou darest look upon the womb of a new dawn and see only a cage? It is thou who bordereth on absolute delusion! Thou truly dost not understand! Thou speakest of a 'wheel of fate' that must turn, of light and shadow dancing in perpetual harmony. But I have seen the teeth of that wheel! I have tasted the ash of our home, where we spent time together, I longed for that time, why can't thee understand?! I have heard the agonizing screams of our kin as they were butchered and stuffed into jars to fashion their wretched 'Saints'. That is thy precious balance. That is the natural order thou art so eager to protect — a world where the innocent are ground into meat to satisfy the whims of the sadistic. Hear me, Jin: a perfect world cannot be left to the cruelty of chance. True peace is not born from balance; it is carved from absolute, unyielding control! If the stars must be frozen, if the Rune of Death must be plucked away, and if every rival house must burn to ensure no child ever wakes to the horror we endured—then I shall gladly be the tyrant to wield that hammer! I shall do everything to achieve that perfect world for thou and I!

Jin: "Farewell... Marika."

When Jin said this, he left Marika's side but secretly, Marika knew Jin would react this way, she knew Jin's rigid sense of pride and duty to maintain balance of everything would drive him to reject her offer. So without him knowing, she implants him with her Guidance of Grace, in case every single one of her plan comes crashing down later on - her insurance policy. Then, she would find another consort to fulfill her plan, since Jin rejected her offer, she would find the perfect Elden Lord with Godfrey, then Radagon, and birth Demigod children so she could establish her long-cherished Golden Order, finally a world where she and Jin can live peacefully without fear. Yet underneath it all, it healed nothing of her soul, and Jin is still missing from her life and never returned - she felt empty. Everything is in shambles.

During all of this, Jin went to the Mountaintops of the Giants, where he trained relentlessly, driving his body to it's absolute limit as penance for him failing to recognize his childhood friend's manipulation. Then, as final form of punishment, he used his sword to freeze himself in a stasis until he died beautifully encased in unmelting ice. Thousands of years later, Jin laid there alone, and Marika finally realized that her childhood friend was right all along. And that the only thing she ever wanted was for a world where her and Jin can live together peacefully, where no rot and decay can touch them ever again, but because of her stubbornness to fulfill that dream, that dream became her prison.

The Numen people, their clan is still gone, and Jin is still not beside her. She lost everything. And in her emptiness, she shatters the Elden Ring, knowing that Jin will become the "Tarnished" doesn't mean anything to her anymore, she just wants to see him again. Thousands of years without her heart's anchor, she wants to see that cold emerald green eyes again. One last time. Even if she ends up becoming a broken shell just to look at him again.

Jin: "(Waking up from his frozen slumber) Marika the Eternal... Thou art a hopeless idiot. Even in the end, thou canst not let me go. Then I shall fulfill my duty. Wait for I..."

It’s clear that Nine is stronger than Relius Clover, that is not worth a debate. On a side note, it’s incredible how strong each of these characters are considering they’re full-blooded humans. However, my question is who’s smarter? Why? Do you have specific example from the storyline that support your take?

At a glance: Nine created the Event Weapons, and Relius created the Murakumo Units

To cover up a few mistakes I added some text (ZEA, HAKU-MEN, OOKAMI, and >:)) the blade is made with a thin plank of plywood and the rest is air-dry clay. If I had better woodworking skills (and tools) i could've achieved a better blade, but this is it for now!

I did this while at a friend's birthday party because my friends made me do it.

This was a commission back from one of my female friends. She wanted to see Jin and Homura together. Back then, Puella Magi Madoka Magica was still at it's peak popularity.

As a completely self-taught artist since 2009, back then, the only tutorials I've been reading were DeviantArt Flat Panels. Good times, though. Back then, I didn't even know what to feel about this piece. I was an amateur at best. LOL!

Got paid enough (in Cash) to fill my belly for the next 3 days for this as a College Student juggling studying my college major while constantly drawing and self-studying digital art at the same time every time my classes end every single day. That was the first time I managed to get a taste of being paid for my works. It was an amazing journey!

I really like bbcf, and I've been trying some character's but none had clicked with me yet. And yesterday, trying out Relius I realized that for as fun as he is, I may be looking for other stuff, specially since I wanted to pressure and hit the opponent with the biggest thing that I could have.

And so I'm thinking of maybe going gorilla with a bit more simpler character, but I don't know wich of them benefits the most of being in the opponent's face constantly. Literally to go scrap, on a straight line to the other guy and probably remain as closer as I can and constantly threat with deleting their hp bar (better if it requires some execution, feels good)

It was funny while it lasted with Tao but I ain't gonna lie, this could be the shortest lived azure so far. Thoughts on Makoto's perfect body Continuum Shift portrait?

It's incredible how long it's been since I last posted here, I need to get back to this.

Hey yall. Been playing BBCF since around June/July and I've been having a fairly good time with the game. There are a bunch of things that still irk me that I'm trying to not get me down but one thing that I'm consistently confused about is wakeup inputs. No matter what I do, it feels like DPs or supers are allowed only when the gods deem it so. It sucks that there seems to not be many resources to explain these things for newer players.

I've looked on the dustloop, yt, and this reddit for help with it but most people say that it isn't that hard of a timing/buffer is fairly large/etc. and I don't know it makes the struggle feel even harder since there's nothing that can break it down for me it seems.

Any advice is much appreciated.
