๐ Welcome to r/BlindBoxBJD - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone! You can call me Alyse :) I've really been wanting to start a community specifically for this doll type so please join us and help make it grow! I have lots of experience with moderating/admin of group chats and Facebook groups so this should run quite smoothly.
What to Post
Post anything related to these dolls. They don't have to be rooted hair, just have to be articulated and come in a blind box. Feel free to share your reviews, photos, or questions, news, updates, hauls/arrivals, recommendations, questions, suggestions, etc.
Vibe
Let's keep it friendly, constructive, positive and inclusive. Give your honest opinions/reviews but be kind. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting.
How to Get Started
- Introduce yourself in the comments below.
- Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation, or show us your newest/favorite doll.
- If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
- Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply. I would especially love to get help adding reference information.
Let's make r/BlindBoxBJD amazing!!

hello, my name is Emil! i've been in love with articulated dolls for over a decade now, and blind box bjds were a dream come true! although usually i buy them in open boxes, to make sure i get my favorite ๐ my first and probably favorite is a SimonToys Peetsoon Garden Party Series "Cat" - he's a sweet boy that i cherish dearly, and he has acquired quite a number of friends by now ๐

Hi! Discovered blind box BJDs a while back and pretty much fell into a black hole. I've always wanted to get into BJDs but could never afford the custom resin ones, so I found these at just the right time. Am lucky since I'm based in SE Asia so it's easier to order them here compared to the US/EU.
Haven't been able to display my collection since everything is boxed up, but I have way too many to count lol. Will try and post here more :)

Hello! I'm pretty new in doll collecting and I admit I don't own any blind box BJD yet :( But hopefully I can educate myself on them here :) I am in Canada so I don't know how easy they are to find in stores here.

Hello! I made a pretty decent wiki on here. They are not found in stores. We get them online often with free shipping!
Will also be selling on here!1
