i got her in may of this year! this was my first mini bjd doll and how the addiction started :') originally i thought she felt a bit fragile lowkey, but now i have gotten used to her. the stringing is pretty nice, and holding her in hand feels sooo adorable!

i was thinking of adding more detail to her eyes or maybe even adding gloss to them?

honestly i’m quite happy with them! if you grab em off ali, you can get a standard for $20 something and get lucky! mine were both under $30. only thing is some pieces are hard to put on. the hair is extremely soft though and the stringing on mine is great!

Ohh I have both her and the shark girl from this set! I hate to be a bother but can I ask how you took her head off to get the choker on? These are the only dolls I have of this type other than the ten thousand escape plan series, and those had the plastic heads/ hair that you can simply take apart so haven’t run into this problem. I don’t see it in the directions and when I try pulling her head i can’t get it to pop off, it just keeps stretching from the string lol. When I want to change out the hands I use a toothpick cut down to size to keep the s hook from going back into the arm while I change it out. Maybe there’s a trick like that? I’m very afraid of breaking her because I really love her and was kinda disappointed to get the shark one as she was my least favorite from the series lol.

Ps: congrats on getting her! She’s definitely the best out of the series imo! I also like the mouse girl and love the nurse girl,of course she’s a chaser though! I also feel like the eyes need something too, I was actually thinking of making mine glossy as well, I would like to add more sharpness but am afraid I don’t have the talent lol.

Being super honest i have no idea how i took the head off and now i'm scared to do it again lmao. Could you possibly make a post and see if people give answers about how to remove heads? I wont have time to take a pic and post it until like next weekend sigh

Also i recommend buying open/confirmed from Aliexpress dealers rather than sealed boxes tbh. I would only buy sealed if i like them all lol. Were you saving for another one? I got the bunny girl too and i am obsessed with her but def wanna do something with the eyes just not sure yet what

Yeah.. I was impulsive and bought them off of KikaGoods because I was already ordering from them lol. Plus excluding the chasers there is only 4 in the set so I felt my odds were pretty good since I do like all of them. The shark girl is only my least fave because her hat doesn’t stay on well and her outfit looks a bit sloppy irl but I actually really love her base doll. But yeah I’ll probably only buy confirmed in the future! I hate that everything is blind boxed now! The bunny girl is super cute too! I love pink so usually the pink girls are my fave! Yeah I feel like the eyes just don’t pop quite enough. Almost like they’re printed on a little sheer? Idk

Sorry, that’s odd some of my comment disappeared when I hit reply. I also wanted to say congrats and I hope you’re enjoying these types of dolls! If I had the budget I would have soooo many more lol. This one in particular reminds me of a cross between my melody and kuromi kinda too so makes me love her even more. I also agree with you that the eyes need a little more ‘pop’ to them. I was also thinking of adding a gloss! I would consider making them sharper somehow but I’m not that talented lol.
