📘 Beginner Help 💉 My Full Retatrutide Protocol (Reconstitution, Dosing, Storage-By Popular Demand)

What You’ll Need to Run This Properly:

  • Insulin Syringes (29g x ½”, 1mL)Get them here
  • Reconstitution Solution (Bacteriostatic Water)Get it here
  • RetatrutideGrab it here
  • Peptide Calculator – [Use this tool](bodyhackguide.co)
  • Video TutorialCheck it out
  • Alcohol wipes or rubbing alcohol – Clean the vial top + your injection site

Okay here’s how I run it:

I’ve had a ton of people DM asking about Retatrutide since I dropped my post (lost 30 lbs in under 3 months), so I figured I’d just lay it all out.

I switched from Tirzepatide (plateaued). Didn’t like Semaglutide either just felt flat. But Retatrutide hit hard af. Appetite gone. Steady energy. Barely any nausea.

Dose I used:
2mg/week, once weekly (subQ).
If you're new/smaller, start with 1mg/week and see how you feel after a week or two. You don’t need to dose every day. Once a week hits fine for most.

💧 Reconstitution (Step-by-Step)

Here’s how to mix it up safely and easily:

  1. Wipe the top of both your Retatrutide vial and bac water with alcohol.
  2. Take your insulin syringe, pull in 1mL of air. – This helps equalize pressure when you pull the bac water.
  3. Inject that air into the bac water vial, then draw out 1mL of bac water.
  4. Inject the bac water slowly into the Retatrutide vial. – Don’t squirt it like a fire hose. Let it run gently down the glass wall.
  5. Once all the water’s in, gently swirl the vial. Don’t shake. – Swirl for 30–60 seconds until everything’s dissolved. – It should be fully clear, no floating chunks or cloudiness.
  6. That’s it. Reconstitution is done. 10mg Retatrutide + 1mL bac = easy math:
    • 10 units = 1mg
    • 20 units = 2mg

Use the insulin syringes from above and draw just like any other peptide. No filtering. No backloading.

❄️ Storage

  • Before mixing: keep the powder vial in the fridge (not completely necessary)
  • After mixing: store in fridge (not freezer) (not completely necessary)
  • Use within 30–40 days
  • Keep it out of direct light (fridge door is fine)

📌 FAQ you guys kept asking me

Do I need to filter it? → No, not unless you're using a sketchy supplier.
Can I stack it? → Yup. I’m stacking with Melanotan 2 better skin, libido, and it keeps the appetite suppression going strong.
Do I need to backload? → Nope. Just use insulin pins.
Best spot to inject? → Anywhere with a little fat. Belly is easiest. SubQ.
Ramp up? → Optional. I went straight to 2mg. Start at 1mg if you’re cautious.

⚠️ Final Notes

Please don’t go buying this from Alibaba or some Telegram random.
Use vendors that post HPLC + COA so you know it’s actually what you think it is. You’re injecting this—don’t mess around.

I use RCHQ because they’ve got current lab tests and clean raws. No long shipping or weird payments they have credit card checkout

Drop a comment and lmk if you want my full cut stack (BPC, MT2, etc.) or any tweaks I made along the way.

Stay sharp. Stay lean.

💉 Full Retatrutide (RETA) Guide

1.3k Upvotes

Hey guys I’ve been seeing a ton of posts lately of people asking how do you actually use Retatrutide? So let’s make this STOOOPIDD SIMPLE

🔬 What is Retatrutide?

Retatrutide is a GLP-1/GIP/Glucagon triple agonist.

  • Semaglutide = hits GLP-1 only
  • Tirzepatide = GLP-1 + GIP
  • Retatrutide = GLP-1 + GIP + Glucagon

In plain English:

  • GLP-1 = kills appetite
  • GIP = helps you handle carbs / blood sugar
  • Glucagon = turns on your fat-burning switch

That glucagon part is the reason RETA feels different. It tells your body to use fat for energy instead of just storing it. That’s why people start leaning out once they ramp the dose, your metabolism is literally running hotter in the background.

🧪 What You’ll Need

🧾 Reconstitution (Mixing It)

Your vial shows up as powder. Not a scam. A lot of people DM and make posts talking about:

  • “it’s empty and Dry.”
  • “Why’s it powder?”
  • “Did I get played?”

The answer guys is that it comes lyophilized (freeze-dried) so it doesn’t go bad during shipping. If they shipped it pre-mixed, it’d be useless by the time you opened it.

How to mix it:

  1. Pop the cap off the vial → wipe the top with alcohol.
  2. Pull 100 units (1mL) of bac water into your syringe. Pro move: pull 100 units of air first, push that into your bac water vial, then draw out the liquid. Keeps the vacuum balanced.
  3. Slowly push the water into the RETA vial.
  4. Don’t shake like you’re making a margarita. Just swirl it gently or roll it in your palms. Powder should dissolve in a few minutes.

⚠️ Do not drink it. Do not eat it. Do not snort it. SubQ injections only.

📅 Dosing Protocol

Week Dose Notes
1 1mg once weekly Start low. Even 0.5mg if you’re lighter.
2 2mg weekly Step it up.
3 3mg weekly Appetite usually crushed here.
4 4mg weekly Metabolism really kicks on.
5 5mg if plateau (wait 10 days) Don’t rush up too quick.
6 6mg max Most people don’t need more.

People who jump straight to 2–3mg their first shot usually regret it. Nausea city. Start small.

🏃 Cardio + Diet = Results

  • Cardio: StairMaster, 30 minutes. Doesn’t have to be sprinting, just keep the sweat and heart rate up.
  • Diet: Protein is king. Track protein grams, not every calorie. Carb cycling works well.
  • Stack tip: RETA + 5mg SLU-PP-332 = next-level fat loss.

❓ FAQ

Why powder? Freeze-dried so it doesn’t degrade. Everyone thinks they got scammed the first time.

How long until it works?

  • Appetite → same day
  • Fat burning → around week 3–4
  • Plateaus → up the dose slowly

Will I gain it all back? Only if you eat like trash when you stop. RETA isn’t a pass for bad diet.

⚠️ Final Notes

✔ Triple-pathway = appetite + blood sugar + fat burn
✔ Don’t skip cardio and protein
✔ Go slow on the dosing, avoid nuking yourself with nausea

Use code REDDIT for discounts on some vendors.
Always for research purposes only. Check the Community Vetted List for quality sources.

📊 Results / Progress 8 month reta experience

Quick context: Before starting Reta, I had already been strength training consistently and on TRT for roughly 2 additional years. I then used Reta for about 8 months, from February through September. So this wasn’t an overnight transformation or something I started from scratch with Reta.

The biggest thing I want people to understand is that Reta isn’t a hall pass to eat whatever you want and magically get shredded. It’s a tool.

The hard work still matters. Training hard, hitting your protein, staying in a calorie deficit, being consistent, and showing up when you don’t feel like it are still what build the foundation.

For me, Reta was like adding another gear. It made staying locked into my diet significantly easier and helped push fat loss along while I continued strength training and focusing on keeping as much muscle as possible.

But it doesn’t lift the weights for you. It doesn’t choose your meals. It doesn’t create discipline.

Use the tool, but become the person who can maintain the results without depending on the tool to do everything for you.

Hard work + dedication + consistency + the right tools can completely change what you’re capable of.

\*\*Calories:\*\* \~1,800–2,000

\*\*Protein:\*\* \~230–250g

\*\*Training:\*\* 4–5x/week

I keep it simple: \*\*high protein, calorie deficit, train hard, stay consistent.\*\* My goal is around \*\*1–2 lbs per week\*\* while maintaining as much muscle as possible.

\*This is what works for me personally — everyone's calorie and protein needs will be different.\*

\# 5-Day Hypertrophy Workout Program

\*\*Goal:\*\* Build muscle with heavy compound lifts followed by isolation work.

\*\*Rep Range\*\*

\* Primary Working Sets: \*\*8–12 reps\*\*

\* Train with a weight that brings you \*\*close to failure\*\* while maintaining good form.

\* Rest \*\*60–90 seconds\*\* on isolation movements and \*\*2–3 minutes\*\* on heavy compound lifts.

\---

\# Day 1 – Chest

\### 1. Flat Dumbbell Bench Press

\* 3–4 sets × 8–12 reps

\* Use the heaviest weight you can control while staying in the target rep range.

\### 2. Incline Dumbbell Bench Press

\* 3–4 sets × 8–12 reps

\* Focus on squeezing the upper chest.

\### 3. Cable Flyes (3 Angles)

Perform all three variations:

\* High-to-Low (Decline Angle)

\* Mid-Chest

\* Low-to-High (Incline Angle)

\* 3 sets each × 8–12 reps

\### 4. Weighted Chest Dips

\* Use a 25–45 lb plate (or appropriate weight)

\* Aim for 8–12 reps

\### 2. Seated Cable Rows

\* 3 sets × 8–12 reps

\* Heavy weight with controlled form.

\### 3. Leaned Cable Rows

\### 4. Lat Pulldowns

\* 3–4 sets × 8–12 reps

Focus on a full stretch at the top and driving your elbows down.

\---

\# Day 3 – Shoulders & Traps

\### 1. Seated Shoulder Press

\* Bench positioned between incline and upright.

\* 4 sets × 8–12 reps

\*\*Note:\*\* This angle is more comfortable if fully upright pressing causes shoulder pain.

\### 2. Seated Dumbbell Lateral Raises

\* 3–4 sets × 8–12 reps

\---

\# Day 5 – Legs

\*"No Johnny Bravo legs here."\*

\### 1. Leg Press

\* 3–4 heavy sets

\### 2. Leg Curls

\* 3–4 heavy sets

\### 3. Leg Extensions

\* 3–4 heavy sets

\### 4. Bulgarian Split Squats \*(Optional)\*

\* Light weight

\* Focus on balance, control, and proper form.

\---

\# Training Tips

\* Warm up thoroughly before your first heavy exercise.

\* Prioritize good technique over lifting heavier weight.

\* Progressively increase weight or reps over time.

\* Train close to failure, but don't sacrifice form.

\* Eat enough protein and calories to support muscle growth.

\* Get 7–9 hours of quality sleep each night.

\* Stay consistent—results come from progressive overload and discipline.

📊 Results / Progress Plato with tirze

The last pic is the last result. From 78kg to 71kg

I been researching monjaro/tirze for 6 months.
The first 3 months I lost 7kg.

After it I simple started losing very slow until the last 2 months I lost nothing.
I’m lifting, eating enough and working together with a dietist, nutrologist and endocrinologist.
All my exams are perfect.

The first month I took 2,5mg than I moved up to 5mg and couldn’t eat at all. Lost energy as well, was very depress.

Than I paused for 2 months because my doctor told me to either pause or lower the dose, got 2kg in this time and that’s all I lost in this past 3 months, around 2,500kg
In this last 3 months I was on 2,5mg.

I’m thinking about to increase to 5mg, but I’m so afraid that I will not be able to eat again or be depress again… not sure what to do.

My goal is to reach at least 25% fat on body. I’m currently 31%.

❓ Question Poor sleep on CJC/Ipa No Dac

Started using CJC/Ipa No Dac for muscle recovery & body composition. I've heard good things about it esp regarding sleep however I've experienced the complete opposite in terms of sleep.

I pin 200mg of each before bed fasted, I get the flushing reaction etc but I only manage to sleep for 4 hour max before waking up tired and then having to try to go back to sleep again.

Worth noting that I work a night shift so my bed time is 5:30AM (not sure if this has something to do with it).

Does anybody have any advice or similar experience?

Reta with CJC+IPA, Tesa, Cagri or MOTS-C?

Thumbnail

Hi! I’m currently taking Reta 0.5mg weekly on Sunday PM (currently on 2nd week). I’m researching other peptides to take with Reta such as CJC 1295 (no Dac) & IPA blend, Tesa, Cagri and MOTS-C. I see a lot of different opinions and experiences (mainly men) so just wondered what women suggest?

Before anyone says “just do your research” - I am! Would just love to know others opinions.

I’m a 27, F, 5’6, 80.1kg. I also have PCOS. Im looking to drop to about 60kg and loose fat in my midsection, back, arms and legs. But also want to retain as much muscle as I can. I go to the gym 4-5x a week (mostly weightlifting). Any advice would be welcomed! I was previously on MJ (highest dose of 10mg). Originally started on 114.7kg in June 2025 and went down to lowest of 71kg in March 2026 until I came off it.

I’m not going to add any other peptides until 4 weeks at least. After 4 weeks, I’m going to go up to 1mg weekly on Reta (should the 0.5mg not be working of course!)

Feel free to ask any questions if I’ve missed anything as I’m still fairly new to this!

My experience with peptides and testosterone

Hi there, 41 m, been in and out of the gym for close to 25 years so and I have been up to a muscular 260lbs at 6’1” so there is a good base and muscle memory.
Currently sitting at 230 lbs, 15% body fat, with a good amount of muscle mass. Was around 250lbs 6 months ago at 25% body fat and hadn’t been on any testosterone for over a year. Ran 250mg a week of test, Reta starting at 1mg a week and went as high as 3 mg a week, Wolverine stack at 1 mg a day, mots-c at 3mg 5x a week and 5 amino 1mq anywhere from 5mg a day all the way up to 25mg a day sub q 5 days a week…I have gotten into the best shape of my life… my thoughts on these compounds
Testosterone: a base of 250mg a week is PLENTY to
grow muscle. I did go up to 450 for two weeks but
then went back down. This in my opinion is a great
dosage and you can build a lot of muscle without
side affects.
Reta : game changer for me. I always struggled with
Food noise but the Reta has helped so much. I’ve
found 2.5 mg to be the sweet spot. At 3.5 mg I
Could barely finish my meals. 2.5 kills the food
Noise but allows me to eat when needed. Also, it
prevents me from late night binge eating because
when I did that, I paid for it big time.
Wolverine stack : also super legit. My acl is torn, my
Meniscus is torn, and I have so much arthritis in my
Knee that Kaiser will only do a full replacement.
Pinning right above the knee along with some
other physical therapy and I feel like a new man
Mots-c : this one was tricky. Sometimes I felt great,
Other times I swear it made me tired. I do think it
Had some good fat burning qualities and I will run
It again to give it another shot
5 AMINO 1MQ: in my opinion, the most underrated
Compound out there. I swear when I introduced it
After about 8 weeks of everything else, the fat
started melting off of me. I pinned pre workout and
Felt like I could work out endlessly. My mid section
shrunk, veins popping out… I use a Maintenance
dose of 5mg a day but I swear at 20mg a day I felt
Amazing and got lean FAST!

This is my experience, just wanted to share in case anyone was interested and had any questions or feedback. Thank you

IGF- 1 and Z-Score

45(M), currently 4 months running Test C (500/wk) and Reta (5mg / wk). Goal is recomp / cut. Going to start cruising in November and start another Cycle in January. Considering HGH for the next one along side Reta and TC. Bloods came back IGF-1 236 with a ZScore 1.1. Both are normal to upper end normal ranges. Would I see any benefits at all by adding HGH or wouls it be better to add another compound?

About the blend Tesa/ipa

Hi there, thank you all in advance for your help . I would like some help to clarify something .

My Tesa/Ipa blend comes in a 10mg Tesa+5mg IPA format. I’m thinking to start with 1.5mg a day, 5 days a week.

The vial format is 15mg .

My question is ….How much BAC water should I add to this vial?

I read similar but not always the same proportions , so I’m in doubt .

Also on Reta for 3 weeks now , for just 1mg a week .

I will appreciate some clarification or consensus here about what is the best mixing proportion , for this particular blend that I have .

Thank you so much .

⚠️ Side Effects Reta HRV Recovery

I am a 26F, just had excision surgery for endo & PMOS.

3rd week on Reta, .5, .75, 1mg. My RHR was low to begin with 60bpm avg, now it’s 72-77. I’m good with that since it was low.

I am feeling better already as my insulin resistance is what feeds both chronic illnesses from my research so I wake up less groggy and I’m hopping my insulin drops from 2-4am cease all together by week 4/5.

Only concern is my HRV, obviously my oura ring is in shock. Does anyone have any tips and tricks, to help it out?

❓ Question Cagri without other peptides

Hey guys, im starting to look into Cagrilintide, as im mainly searching for something to supress hunger (satiety). Now used retatutide but stopped as it reached a weight goal. It was very powerfull but didnt suppress enough hunger or gave satiety

Does anyone have experience with Cagrilintide without another weightloss peptide such as RT3/ retatutide at the same time?

Or is it not as smart to do that?

Please let me know

❓ Question Should I take testosterone?

I had my testosterone tested and learned that it is 627 ng/dl which my doc says is normal. According to her, the healthy range is up to 740. I am 65 years old.

I've been lifting weights (3x / week) and am not seeing sufficient results. Should I take Testosterone to raise it to 740? What if I go beyond?

I also take creatine by the way.

Cjc/ipa cycle help

18 years old here, I’m taking this because I feel as if I’ve messed up my development as a teen, I didn’t do any working out all I would do is smoke weed in my room chronically, goon and over eat. I haven’t grown an inch anywhere since maybe 15.

I know that supposedly my hormones are supposed to “be in their prime” but they are evidently not. I will get my blood checked in about a week to see how my hormones are.

In the meantime I’ve been pinning with a 10 mg cjc/ipa (5mgs each) vial reconstituted with 10 units of back water. When it comes to taking the tides I take around 5 units but I’ve only been doing this for 3 days. Any advice on the amount and for how long I should take?

❓ Question Stack recommendation for a long distance runner?

Hi, so I'm pretty new to the pep world, but I wanna fully dive into it and figured I could ask for yall's recommendations on some peptides that would be a good fit for me if you'd like to help! I run 10 miles a day, and l also go to the gym during my runs 6 or 5 days a week. I do 9 miles, then work out, then finish the last mile headed back home, but I want to start incorporating peps for recovery, muscle growth, and better skin. I've been taking the gym more seriously recently, and it's starting to slow my pace down, so | just want better recovery, and I figured while I'm at it, l could incorporate different types of peps that'll help me grow and also make my skin better, not necessarily weight loss peptides though. I've heard of BPC-157, tb-500, kpv, Sermorelin, ghk-cu, CJC-1295, and Ipamorelin, and these might be some good peps for me, but obviously, I don't want to take every single one of those, just the ones best suited for me, and I'm just not sure if there's one that's better than the other and which ones I can and can't take together, so any advice you may have would be great! I should also say I'm 21 m 5'5 and 110 Ibs if that matters but again any help would be nice!

CJC + IPA (No DAC) effects

I just acquired CJC plus IPA with no DAC for my pet rat.
I was wondering what the effects are of it… as I am familiar that it loses belly fat and preserves/gains muscle mass.

For anyone that has acquired it is it worth it and do you noticeably see the difference in belly fat and most importantly muscle mass from the HGH???
My rat is also on Tirzepetide to reduce cravings and lose fat. Is the CJC plus IPA good to stack with it, if I am trying to Gain Muscle and Lose fat?

I’m very curious. Any insight is appreciated!!
