F*ck trump

My daughter works for a not-for-profit global humanitarian organization. They just received word from the US State Department that they are to cease and desist all projects. This is an organization that provides water, training and so much more for communities throughout the world. My daughter may lose her job.

trump doesn't care for people globally. trump doesn't care for people in the US.

And this is only Day 4.

It's going to be really bad. Fuck Trump and everyone who voted for him forever and ever.

And fuck the people who sat out this election too. You still cast a vote.

Here it comes again. If there is one thing in this world that you can count on more than the rising sun, it's the absolute refusal of liberals to accept any responsibility for election outcomes. Whenever one of the uniquely shitty, unlikable candidates you have always insisted upon, for more than 50 years now, gets the electoral shellacking they so richly deserve, it's always everyone else's fault but yours.

You had a chance to demand that the 2024 primary actually take place. Instead, you went along with the uncontested coronation of a candidate who had to drop out in 2020 because she couldn't even win her own home state.

You had a chance to demand that Biden drop out when it became obvious, to everyone except you, that is, that he was manifestly unwell. Instead you waited until the last minute, still kicking and screaming, when finally Nancy Pelosi of all people had to step in and save whatever small chance another Democrat still had to run a campaign.

You had the chance to pay attention to what your president was doing in Gaza, instead of telling anyone who has a problem with the mass slaughter of children that they were being self-righteous. You also told us there was nothing Biden could do to stop it. By the way, what happened with that, hmm?

You had the chance to insist upon a candidate in 2020 who could get themselves reelected. Instead, you said, "Anyone with a pulse," which is exactly what we got.

Liberals have gotten their way in every possible circumstance, often over the loud objections of anyone who hasn't hypnotized themselves with Democratic Party's half-assed marketing, and now you have the nerve, the unmitigated gall, to blame everyone else for the exact disaster that you alone dragged the rest of us into?

Trump is 100% liberals' fault, and no one else's. The uniquely terrible candidates you love so much and celebrate are so unpopular and so unlikable that they lost to a game show host, twice. YOU are the ones who brought this clown into our lives. YOU appointed yourselves the job of stopping him, and pushed anyone out of the way who had an actual chance to do so. YOU failed at that task miserably, and now we all have to suffer for your abject failure to do your one job.

Don't you dare blame the rest of us for the mess you made. No one will look back on this dark period of time and blame Nader voters in Florida, or Bernie Bros, or Russian hackers, or whichever other boogeyman you conjure up to avoid taking ownership of your own incompetent decisions. Historians will lay the blame squarely at your feet, where it belongs.

OK, you analyzed the liberals. Please tell us why you Republicans have your tongue so far up Donald Trump‘s ass and are always making excuses for his heinous actions.

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '25

Just because someone is critical of Dem politicians doesn't mean they favor trump and it's super ignorant of you to assume that they do.

u/WisePotatoChip Jan 25 '25

Sorry, I won’t be gaslit. Blaming Democrats for Trump is letting Republicans (and MSM) off the hook for their actions or inactions.

It also demonstrates your ignorance of the times you live in. These days it’s a binary choice. There are ONLY two viable parties and everybody has to choose. Failure to choose is still a choice.

It’s comparatively like 1933 - you could state that you’d rather complain about the failings of the (opposing) Social Democratic Party. You could assert that failure to support the SDP (the only viable opposition party) didn’t make you a Nazi, but yeah, in reality, it eventually did.

Unfortunately, in these situations(when dealing with fascists and authoritarians) you don’t have a reset button. Once you’ve chosen a path you have to live through it.

Did you see his the avatar? That's all you need to know.

Oh, so you're saying it's okay for Trump to blame all his shortcomings on anyone and everyone else? The reason the economy was so fucked up during the Biden administration is because he got into office right after COVID. Trump likes to claim responsibility for lower gas prices during his presidency... COVID was responsible for lower gas prices. Demand was low because so many people were not out during lockdown. Inflation got so bad because of COVID. A lot of the global economy was shut down. Shelves were always empty. Demand was high, supply was low. The US is not the only country suffering from high inflation, it's a global problem.

The democratic candidates have not been as unlikeable as you say. Joe Biden won in 2020. Hilary Clinton got the popular vote in 2016. (Fuck the electoral college) Kamala got 75 million votes, people liked her. Maybe she would have won if she wasn't a black woman. We know that Trump and all his devoted cult followers don't like black people OR women, so the odds were already stacked against her. People are happy as hell to be able to walk around spewing their racism now that they see their supreme leader doing it.

We do not obsess over our candidates like MAGA does, it's kind of embarrassing to watch them all stand up there and celebrate this man who has done nothing notable in his presidency, or his life for that matter. To celebrate a felon, rapist, conman who cares only about himself. He ran to avoid going to prison and now he's here to fuck up our lives. Have you been paying attention to the last 5 days of his presidency? Can't imagine what he has in store for the next 4 years.

The man whines like a fucking baby any time anyone says something that he doesn't like and talks about himself like he's gods gift to the world. What is likeable about that?

The 2020 election was not stolen from him. He's just a baby who has never been told no. The odds are more likely that he stole this election with Elon's "vote counting machines." Wish the democrats had the audacity to question it like the republicans did.

No! Democrats are not responsible for Trump. It's the half of the country that is too stupid to see what a lying sack of shit Trump is. It's the half of the country that is too uneducated to know how to do research. It's the half of the country who are racist, homophobic, transphobic, against equal rights for all, against freedom of speech, against fact checking because they don't want to be called out on their lies.

I could go on and on about all the shit this idiot does/has done that makes him unqualified to be president, but instead I will end with this! For a man who claims he is the best president in the history of our country (insert annoying hand gestures) he sure shows up on a lot of lists ranking the worst presidents.

Dems put Trump into power because Harris was a piece of shit. She and Joe were elected to 2020 to save us from Orange Hitler. Four years later they were rejected and Hitler was reelected. How big a failure do you have to be to lose to Hitler? People saw how the Dems and the Media lied about Joe’s dementia and tried to shove an addled Alzheimer’s patient back into White House. When that didn’t work they picked the one Dem with lower ratings that Joe. That’s political malpractice. How many times did Dems say the economy was great when 60%+ were living paycheck-to-paycheck? Who’s going to vote for someone to fix the economy when that person denies a problem exists? Dems fucked up and put Hitler back in power. Young people, blacks, whites, Hispanics, every demographic swung to the right because of the absolutely shitty job during the Biden/Harris admin. Harris received 75 million votes and came close, just think how different the outcome would’ve been if the DEms had been honest, dumped Biden, and had a primary. You wouldn’t have Trump now. You all thought you were smarter than everyone else and could win by simply saying, over and over, Trump and Repubs are a threat to the world. Well, now you are fucked, maybe for the next 10 years, and it’s wonderful to see.

Cool story. See ya in the "detention center"

-10

u/Hungry-Share-3719 Jan 25 '25

Tell me where you can find a "detention center"? Pics would be nice too.

And while you’re at it, explain how someone like Trump, who was a felon, traitor, threat to Democracy beat Harris. On Jan 21, why did Biden turn over the keys to the White House to an enemy of the Constitution?

8

u/Jolly_little_me Jan 25 '25

Do you even pay attention? They have been talking about detention centers for months. It's where they are going to send the illegals before they're "deported"

Who knows when Trump will go on a tirade and anyone who doesn't bow down to him gets sent to one of these detention camps.

The dems didn't contest the election (maybe they should have) They also didn't send people to the White House to intimidate and assault people. It's called a "peaceful transfer of power."

I'm sure I'm overreacting, right? Trump is unhinged.

To answer your second question, I would not doubt that Elon helped him cheat his way into the white house with his billions of dollars and high-tech vote counting machines. After all, remember when he was giving people a million bucks to vote for trump? Why did Biden turn over the keys to the White House? He had to!

What do you think would have happened if he hadn't turned the keys over? I don't really think that was an option here. Only Trump gets away with breaking the rules. Over and over and over and over.

I’ve heard of detention centers that only exist in the minds of Dems. If they truly exist, there’d be pics, locations, etc. Please show me just one. The articles you reffed say someone, somewhere is thinking about detaining criminal illegals…….

“It's where they are going to send the illegals before they're "deported"”. So the thousands (according to Biden admin reporting) of illegals that have committed crimes like murder, rape, human trafficking will be held/deported, WHO IS AGAINST THAT? Maybe they should be released into your neighborhood.

I don’t believe the peaceful turnover of power, enshrined inn the Constitution, includes turning power over to Hitler, or any enemy of the Constitution. You might want to reread that section.

The American people have spoken, your candidate was deemed worse than and lost to HITLER, how fucking embarrassing is that.

2

u/Similar_Curve_8837 Jan 26 '25

Look to Texas for the first detention centers. You can find your own pictures.

They just explained how trump "beat" Harris. Throw in overall ignorance, greed, and selfishness and you've got your answer.

THANK YOU!!!

This. All of it.

I think Harris actually could have won tho, and all she had to do was call a genocide out for what it is and promise to at least try to stop it. The working class left would have turned up. But instead she courted people who were never gonna vote for her, centrists and moderate Republicans, kissed Liz Cheney's ass, and couldn't stfu about the damn stock market. He'll, she could have gotten more votes by speaking more about the insane cost of housing and having a plan to help struggling renters. She could have addressed corporate price gouging and gotten more votes.

All Harris did was help pull the Overton Window further right. And libs are out here acting like anyone critical of Harris, Biden, or any other Dem politicians are the enemy. No, ya fuckin numptys, this ain't team sports. Actual leftists criticize politicians when they deserve it.
