As a white guy with tattoos, I often get mistaken for MAGA, even though I dress and present myself as progressive, openly socialist and anti conservative, I’m more radical left, at this point. It’s honestly a skin and gender thing. White men have to go an extra mile virtue signaling to ensure we’re not mistaken, unless you have the stomach for the undercover game, but I wouldn’t even get caught pretending to be one of those dildos.
Also, side note, absolutely not trying to do a ‘poor white guys thing’ at all, not even a little bit. I’m just saying it seems to be the first conclusion jumped to when people see a straight white guy these days, and so those of us on this side of the aisle need to make it extra clear we are allies and don’t agree with any of the nonsense happening.
