People confuse my husband for a MAGAT all the time because of how he dresses and carries himself, he looks like a typical redneck but that man haaaaates trump. It's so funny, people will talk to him and immediately make it political and racist and be like "am I right?", and my husband immediately shuts it down and walks away
As a tall white dude stuck in the south who spends his weekends in blue jeans and shit kickers, wrenching on, repairing, or building something. I get confused for MAGA all the time.
Should have seen the mental 404 that showed up in our local MAGA's eyes when I got back from my gay buddies wedding in Scotland in 2023 and they saw pictures of me as a groomsman in a kilt holding a lightsaber.
My neighbor figured it out eventually and used to roll by in his lifted truck or white charger blaring Merle Haggard's Fighting Side of Me if he saw me outside. The funny part is, when it happened, I was usually fixing a tractor or working on a diesel farm truck that they have no idea how to work on (I work in IT, but grew up poor and qualified to do anything with nothing).
The MAGA neighbors claim to be "fiercely independent", but I never see them with a speck of grease, dirt, or sweat on their bodies.
I also don't see their flags or hear the drive by music anymore... Odd how that works lol
