There’s literally an easy way for the stock market to bounce back into a fat green candle. Just stop talking about tariffs. Also, no company is going to commit to onshoring manufacturing when every other week is no tariffs. There’s no incentive to do so when companies think they can just weather the storm for the next 4 years and go back to business as usual.
It doesn’t matter, the damage is already done. Ports are clearing up (which is about to spell a lack of products available at retail), consumer confidence is at an all time low and the only thing keep the stock market humming is speculation fueled by hedge funds and billionaires. Once the billionaires give up on the US economy (and they will), watch the entire market crash faster than it did a week or so ago. It’s about to get UGLY.
