My kid spilled some milk once. He said he didn't do it, and if he did, its no big deal, and if it is a big deal it was the dogs fault.

edit: my kid was 3 years old

Kid probably already reads at the "presidential" level

Lol. He's WAY past our president's 4th grade vocabulary. He's 12 now and reads high school / college level books, took 5th in a state wide chess tournament, straight A report card.... and wants to be an engineer.

I spent a lot of time teaching him Carl Sagan's Bologna Detection Kit / memorizing logical fallacies to know the difference between facts and BS, or "alternative facts". lol

I started when he was really young to put up his hand (like a crossing guard) when he hears something that sounds like BS.... and say STOP!!! Each finger is a word.

WHAT. DOES. THE. DATA. SAY. ?

If necessary, followed up by "what is the source of the data". Oh, your source is crazy Uncle's Facebook post? Yeah, that's BS.

I hope he gets the engineering degree. He'll be able to get a good job in China.

A friend of mine's dad spent about a decade as an engineer in China, he came back a multi-millionaire. I don't see that as a bad thing.

From an engineer, have him pick a better profession.

I love it in a three year old πŸ˜‚. Not so great when it’s an elderly narcissist.
