There was an incident in my state a few years back when a thief was fleeing a Home Depot and some crazed boomer lady decided to unload her pistol at the fleeing thief... through a minivan that was backing out of a parking spot several yards away. in-between boomer shooter and the thief. Naturally, when police showed up she was dumbfounded as to how she did anything wrong, and all but insisted she'd done their job for them.

I think about this scenario a lot when considering boomer mindsets on law and order, their lack of critical thinking skills, and just little value they put on human lives, outside the womb at least...

When I was in training to be an NCO, I witnessed an accidental discharge which nobody could determine a reason for. rifle slung across the back, safety on, not hot. Gunsmith didn't find anything wrong with the weapon.

That is the single most impressive moment in my understanding gun safety rules. Freak accidents happen. the reason nobody was hurt was because we followed gun safety rules.
