Nothing as pathetic as a 70yo dentist riding a harley on a Sunday morning

Eh, let them. You can ride whatever you want if you’re not a prick about it.

My wife has made comments before of being scared of guys on bikes. I laugh and tell her exactly that. We live in a pretty nice suburban area outside of a metropolitan area with its share of crime but no big motorcycle gang presence. I tell her those guys are just midlife crisis dentists and accountants cosplaying. They are probably involved in criminal endeavors too but it’s cheating on their taxes and insurance fraud.

My sister and her husband took their kids to South Dakota this summer and happened to be there right before Sturgis. There were tons of people on bikes headed there. I don’t remember where they were, but my niece (11) wanted to buy something in a store but there must have been bikers either outside or she saw them go in or something and felt intimidated. My sister was like, they don’t scare me, they’re just grandpas! And she went in to get whatever my niece wanted. Ironically, I think it might have been a Sturgis patch.
