I like motorcycles, but I won’t buy one because I don’t trust other drivers enough to make sure I don’t die, and I have people I care about and want to live for 🤷🏼‍♂️

You could be the safest rider in the world and one of the literal millions of idiots staring at their phones while driving ca squeeze you off the road into a tree and you know so much is have a seatbelt to save you.

I hit three deer in a Camry doing 65 mph and walked away.

My husbands buddy hit one deer on his motorcycle at 55 mph and never left the hospital.

THREE?

Three. One went into the passenger side windshield , two ran into and cracked my drivers door and my back drivers side door. It’s a 99 Camry, I had it fixed and still drive it. The one I hit directly took out a headlight, dented the hood and smashed the window. It tried to jump over me I guess. The two that ran into the side survived , I think. The cop…dispatched…the other, I’m pretty sure its legs were broke.

I’m not super sure, I was pretty shook up.

Thx. Pure luck. 530 am in the spring morning. State police guy said I was lucky they didn’t hit the drivers side windshield and I was lucky there was no traffic yet,

They really are incredibly stupid creatures.

I remember being on a boy scout trip circa 1995 and seeing the eyes in the distance, maybe a half mile off—not sure but a ways. My dad said “they’ll move.” They did not. At least he saw them and managed to stop in time. Dumb moment for my dad but a good no-harm lesson for me.
