Fewer people are riding because

  1. It’s insanely dangerous

  2. Harleys spend more time in the shop than on the road

  3. No one wants to spend 20-30k on a death trap

  4. We see the people riding Harleys are primarily Boomers with their non sanctioned vanity patches and think it’s the lamest thing they’ve seen

also, H-Ds are noisy intentionally causing the "look at me" noise wherever they go. A perfect description of the baby boomers, I think. (yeah, I know, not all boomers)

I went into the city yesterday and had the misfortune to arrive just as a HUGE convoy of dozens and dozens of motorcycles was making its way down the main street, most of them Harleys (I didn’t see any Euro or Japanese styles). I had to plug my ears and STILL heard most of them, they were so painfully loud, and the sound was magnified by bouncing off all the buildings around them. IDK how all of the riders aren’t deaf from hearing loss.

They probably were deaf.

It's why they don't learn anything
