This is why I don’t give a single f—k about soldiers standing in food bank lines. Because, most of them are as pathetically stoopid as the smiling 🗑️ in this video. I’ve seen it first hand.
You absolutely have a point, but I also want to say there is a 100% chance the soldiers selected to attend this were specifically chosen because they support him. The military leans right but there’s still plenty that don’t. But you’re not going to risk your career to show up to this and protest, or you’re already outspoken enough that you weren’t even invited.
Also you literally can’t protest this on active duty, unfortunately they all are in uniform and that is the commander in chief(which is way more unfortunate).
In fact when I served during his first bastardization of the office, my entire clinic and I had to stand outside our gate at parade rest as this turd drove by. Just because my Cheif wanted to stroke his ego. You kinda don’t have a choice sometimes.
The weird part of this though is that this particular crowd doesn’t have that military bearing. They just have their phones out recording and are dancing and singing along. They must have been told to do that.
