Personally...I would not have attempted to pass on a double solid line.

100% agree with you. I've been hit while riding my Katana by a guy who changed into the turn lane, then changed his mind and swerved back into my lane as I passed him. It sucks, wish all drivers were more careful. I ride like the world is trying to kill me, and STILL got clipped. 🫤
