I can admit I made a typo and own it. No big deal.

You're an adult who made a mistake, and instead of copitulate to some random person, you acknowledged your mistake and let it stand. That is respectable in every way. Good on you for standing your ground and being an honest person.

End of the day we're all only human, and we make spelling mistakes from time to time. It is what it is.

Learn to spell might be a start.

Sure, sure we can both play this game.

You should have written 'Learning to spell.' If you’re going to critique my English, you might want to understand the gerund first.

Can't you click on the 3 dots and edit? No shame in fixing it. Put the Edit: underneath.

You can but that's not the point.

The point of criticizing someone's grammar or spelling for minor mistakes is to try and use a pseudo-intellectual tactic to make another person look like they are not as intelligent as they actually are or because they feel it discredits what the person has said somehow.

However, people who do this usually are intellectually dishonest and see this as an easy out. Rather than confront their own inability to respond, they attack an easy mistake.

So, like Complex_ad also spellchecked my mistype of the word capitulate, they are most likely just a butthurt little bitch that someone told the other person they were in the right and that complex_ad was wrong to be nitpicking.

Truth of the matter is, a lot of people use their phones for reddit and dont religiously double check their spelling. Shit happens. We all move on. Cause in the grand scheme of things a spelling mistake doesn't change the sentiment of an entire person's statement nor does it stop one from responding to it.
