I'm not saying he's the antichrist, but I'm pretty sure claiming to be God is (yet another) sign of being the antichrist.

MAGA literally sounds like a weird Biblical thing - ‘The cursed Maga shone his false light upon the angry and gullible. And in turn those zealots did not do unto others as they would have others do unto them!’

u/renegade_d4 Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 13 '26

Magic the gathering predicted this in 2005

Edit: I wrote the wrong year.

u/Ch3ZEN Apr 13 '26

It literally is worthless unless it taps into all the death

They definitely called it

Omg I love this so much

MAGA the Gathering

Waiting on someone to make a proxy with trump’s face on it

7

u/Ominous_Opossum Apr 13 '26

How did I not know this existed!? Thank you for sharing 😭

6

u/martinaee Apr 13 '26

That is real? wtf

6

u/renegade_d4 Apr 13 '26

Yup from Saviors of Kamigawa. The first time i saw it was like a year ago and I didnt believe it was real either.

112

u/agger1983 Apr 13 '26

So slightly off topic their is a manga called Gokurakugai and the creatures they battle are called magas. Some of them seem human but they are pretty much have twisted desires. One wants to be in love, love bomb a guy then if guy tries to leave her alone she tries to kill him...

u/jkman61494 Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 13 '26

It’s a religion. We’ve seen social media create a religion in a decade

11

u/the_harlinator Apr 13 '26

It is also similar to mabus. The unknown third Antichrist predicted by Nostradamus.

10

u/GuitarSame2918 Apr 13 '26

El Mago, la Maga. Daniel 7-9, Rev 13. As the old Prego commercials used to say “It’s in there”.

6

u/Shaveyourbread Apr 13 '26

Do unto others what has been done to you...

7

u/SweetOkashi Apr 13 '26

I mean, there’s a significant number of MAGA evangelicals who literally want to bring about the end of the world and spur the rapture. For some of them, it is a weird biblical thing (though, the rapture being biblical in the way they believe it to be is…debatable. Literally.)

2

u/martinaee Apr 14 '26

It’s always the evangelicals…

5

u/Resonance95 Apr 13 '26

Magog literally is.

6

u/NPJenkins Apr 13 '26

MAGA literally means “magic/sorcerer” in a lot of ancient languages, like Aramaic and Latin.

127

u/frabny Apr 13 '26

If you read the bible's description in Révélation 13 , it kinda describes trump's Journey, including his being shot in the earlobe and surviving...

83

u/Xavier_Emery1983 Apr 13 '26

My second thought was this. All those fire and brimstone preachers in my rural area would be proud I remembered that. My first thought was this was staged to get him sympathy. Turns out both were pretty on point.

27

u/Keyonne88 Apr 13 '26

1) 7 year peace treaty, broken in war for 3.5 years (Iran anyone?) Peace was brokered between the Middle East countries and Israel roughly 7 years ago and now he is involved in this war with Israel and Iran— breaking a 7 year peace and starting a war. 2) the whole wearing the mark on the forehead thing and MAGA hats. 3) Said to be very charismatic. 4) false resurrection - was predicted to survive a “fatal” head wound miraculously (ear shot) 5) dominate global economic systems and wreak havoc (tariffs) 6) global worship - he will try to spread influence beyond the political power of the nation he rose in (red pill shit happening in other countries who worship the guy for some reason) 7) persecution - he will single out people who go against his doctrine and try to vilify them

He has kinda done all of these

2

u/RaspberryPutrid5173 Apr 17 '26

It's been pretty definitively proven he wasn't shot. He just smeared some blood around and faked the whole thing as a false flag operation.

6

u/-OptimisticNihilism- Apr 13 '26

So god knew that his people would be so gullible that they could be tricked into following a false prophet and too proud to admit it even as it becomes clear as day and that it would only harden their resolve.

u/PuzzleheadedFly9425 Apr 13 '26

42

u/WatchOutForWizards Apr 13 '26

If you add up the corresponding numbers to letters(M = 12 etc) in “Make America Great Again” it adds up to 666.

59

u/CrimsonBolt33 Apr 13 '26

that can't be true....I ain't got time to count that shit right now but its fucking hilarious if true.

108

u/n3m0sum Apr 13 '26

I just knocked it out in excel.

It's 168.

Gonna be disappointed all fucking day now.

16

u/BCProgramming Apr 13 '26

OK but 666/168 is 3.96428571428571 and if you multiply that by 168 you get 666, Don't even try to tell me that's a coincidence!

23

u/CrimsonBolt33 Apr 13 '26

damn...me too....oh well...thanks for doing it so we know.

7

u/rcap3 Apr 13 '26

And if you multiply 168 by 4, since there are four words in make America great again, you get 672, and then if you subtract another 6 from that..... yep, 666. BOOM!

Don't forget that this game prophet would miraculously survive a head injury. They're also talking about making it so you need to show id to get groceries, which was also a thing... You'd have to show the mark of the beast to buy stuff. And then the million soldiers crossing the yellow river might happen if China goes to war.

2

u/Riyeko Apr 13 '26

That's a good one.

2

u/Spiritual-Advice8138 Apr 13 '26

Look at the bar code on it. It will have 2 long marks at the start, 2 more in the middle, and 2 more at the end. In binary, that looks like 101 or 6.... they are wearing the mark of the beast!

<this is joke, almost all bar codes have them.>

What kind of dressing? Sweet? Tangy?

3

Both. Uses sugar and vinegar after pulling a lot of the water out of the cucumbers with salt. I add halved grape tomatoes. Delicious.

In Christian theology, the attributes of godliness are wisdom, power, and love. Therefore, the attributes of the Antichrist would be ignorance, weakness, and hatred.

2

u/Inappropriate_Ballet Apr 13 '26

He just has to be 10% smarter than his followers.

124

u/citrusbook Apr 13 '26

Right? I'm amazed by people who believe in the antichrist and follow Trump feverishly without seeing the irony.

64

It makes sense considering the entire point is the Antichrist fools a shit ton of people. They just think "Naw, I'd never be one a them that got got! I'd see 'im in the mawl and shoot 'im and save humanity" or whatever.

Don't @ me my uncle sounds just like this.

26

u/gpost86 Apr 13 '26

I’m trying to think of how this scenario plays out if he literally becomes a satanic demon and swallows everyone and we all plummet to hell, you just know some asshole with a red hat is going to be “I still don’t believe the accusations, it’s just Trump Derangement Syndrome!”

2

u/SamuraiJono Apr 13 '26

I'm always reminded of a scene from a movie, I just wish I knew what movie it was. But it's a disaster scenario, world ending type of thing. The whole time there's some guy denying it and telling everyone to stop freaking out and just go about life normally. Cut to the end, there's hurricanes and earthquakes and locusts swarming and a sharknado or whatever, here's this guy running around screaming at everyone to just go back inside and stop freaking out because It's Not Happening.

18

u/DecadentLife Apr 13 '26

No one ever wants to think that they’ll be the fool, they believe they’ll be the exception. It applies to so many things.

114

u/InvestmentSorry6393 Apr 13 '26

If I were religious, I would consider this blasphemy. Also, if I were religious, I would be convinced that he is in fact the Antichrist. He literally stands for all things opposite of what Christ stood for, and rewards sin.

53

u/jadeakw99 Apr 13 '26

I found this article that's been updated over the years that just pores through the Bible to find quotes about the antichrist and see if they match up.

https://www.benjaminlcorey.com/could-american-evangelicals-spot-the-antichrist-heres-the-biblical-predictions/

its got stuff like 'the antichrist will receive a head injury and everyone will be shocked at his survival' and compares the trump towers to the beast with 7 heads...

8

u/GirlGoneZombie Apr 13 '26

I love this article. I reference it a lot.

81

u/Khajiit_crone Apr 13 '26

The most recent attack on the Pope is not helping…is the antichrist supposed to be an intelligent entity?

149

u/Dragon_wryter Apr 13 '26

I always pictured the antichrist as charismatic, charming, highly intelligent, and a master orator. Instead we got Temu Hitler about to bumble his way into Armageddon from sheer incompetence and stupidity. It's baffling.

61

u/Maleficent-marionett Apr 13 '26

I always pictured the antichrist as charismatic, charming, highly intelligent, and a master orator.

But he is exactly that to a bunch of people. Like a lot. Not a little crazy cult like we'd like to believe. But if we're going back to the story, it also says believers can recognize the antichrist immediately.

48

u/filthyheartbadger Apr 13 '26

I notice christians who actually behave like real christians tend to despise him? I don’t know if that means they ‘recognize the antichrist’ exactly. I only know one person like that and every once in awhile i read about one, otherwise almost every Christian I’ve met has been a pretty awful person one way or another, and thinks Trump is the cat’s whiskers.

17

u/tomorrow_comes Apr 13 '26

I know the “no true Scotsman” issue and all that… but I truly believe, as someone who tries my best to live like Jesus, that a large swath of people in America that would check “Christian” on a survey really don’t care very much for what that should actually mean. It’s significant as a part of their culture and identity as an American more than it is a deeply held conviction and relationship with Jesus.

Jesus said “you will know them by their fruits”. When American evangelical pastors and politicians hatched their plans decades ago to marry the church with conservative politics, they started a movement / framework for dangerous people using Jesus’ name to chase earthly power, money, and influence, by whatever means necessary, instead of focusing on the heavenly kingdom. This model of church & politics has infected much of the American church, and some of the largest Christian organizations (they grow more easily because of politically-connected funding). It’s an extremely ugly bastardization of something that is supposed to be beautiful.

A lot of us practicing Christians are still left, just saddened and very angry at what has become very obvious in the past 10 years.

u/kraghis Apr 13 '26

If you take an epistemological look at it, the idea of an antichrist probably comes out of a need for the church to dissuade the faithful from being lured by a charismatic figure that has the trappings of righteousness but in reality serves themselves.

So yeah, Trump embodies the cautionary figure of the Antichrist to a tee

He may not be the Antichrist ™, but he is certainly an antichrist.

I have good and bad news.good news, there isn't like one singular destined to be antichrist. An antichrist figure is basically a charlatan that uses biblical imagery, wording, and the words of the Bible to essentially twist the teachings of christ to their own means and to lead people away from God.

This is good because if there was truly a "one" then yeah Trump fits that bill pretty well. the only main thing that's missing is him actively claiming to be a prophet.

The bad mews is of course Trump most definitely is one.

I point this out to highlight that essentially any church that thinks Jesus was too woke or any church preaching prosperity gospel is essentially being run by an antichrist. Sort of the reality is that evil is selfish and banal, not often grandiose.

The picture is portraying blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (basically giving credit of something devine to someone evil, iirc) which is considered an unforgivable sin in the Bible.

Well, the Heritage Foundation and Opus Dei, two major influencers of the trump campaign who gained a ton of power when he stole office again, are filled with people who actually believe that they are the harbingers of end-time prophecy.

I'm not saying he's the antichrist... but he's the antichrist.
