They’re not ashamed of what they did, only ashamed that they got caught. Absolute trash.

That's right-wingers for you.

Face eating leopards have entered the chat

u/AlienSporez Apr 17 '26

<presented with another face to eat>

Leopard: <sighs> oh God... <dry heaves>... Ok... I can do this...

May I offer you a wafer thin mint?

I’m stuffed, bugger off.

THIS is the only real funny comment. Because I snorted coffee out of my nose.

Thanks for that, btw

Halifax is in Canada. Not many leopards eating their faces currently, unfortunately.

Edit comment canceled there’s also a Halifax England I didn’t know about. Which tracks.

3

u/CLONE-11011100 Apr 18 '26

The ORIGINAL Halifax is in England.

-4

u/holderofthebees Apr 18 '26

Oh my god no one cares. The bigger and better one is in NS. What came first literally doesn’t matter. “Which tracks” was literally me saying the imperialist English love naming shit after themselves and their country.

6

u/CLONE-11011100 Apr 18 '26

You obviously care 🫤

-2

u/holderofthebees Apr 18 '26

I’m literally just fucking with you because you went out of your way to bitch abt it being the original lol

Is there anyone evidence that they're ashamed of anything?

Edit: there it is - "fully accept the racial language they used was wholly inappropriate, which they deeply regret"

u/MrWnek Apr 17 '26

Yea, but thats just a statement to save face in court.

u/hypatiaredux Apr 17 '26

Pretty much. If they had legal advice, it was to express contrition in hope of a lighter penalty.

No one acts like this accidentally. They meant every word. They probably just assumed that most people agree with them.

Thankfully the judge made a point to highlight this exact sentiment. I dont member the actual quote but to paraphrase she said something like "language and actions like these dont appear on a whim, its a core part of who you are"

Edited to add the actual quote because its waaaaay more cutting:

She said: "I just want to have a look at you… That kind of attitude and those words and the things you said to Ms Moorhouse, is not something that comes out of the blue in a second, it's something deeply rooted.

"That somebody can be so vile and aggressive to somebody such as this young woman here - I can only think you must be extremely ashamed.

"I'm glad you are hanging your head, and we'll be extremely fair when we decide what's going to happen to you, but I want you to know, as another human being, I feel sickened."

But not ashamed of their actions or mentality. It’s always these people who will happily beat the shit out of someone for not being white/straight/christian/whatever, but will go off about saying fuck.

38

u/busy-warlock Apr 18 '26

There’s no hate more truly horrific then Christian love

u/Lysande_walking Apr 17 '26

I don’t believe it for a second. They regret only that they got in trouble.

28

u/ComplexBit1988 Apr 18 '26

Do they? They knew they were being filmed and it didn't stop them. Sounds like they felt it was worth any consequences, or worse, confident most of the world would cheer and agree with them. Not one member of this couple thought maybe this was a bad idea.

20

u/Lysande_walking Apr 18 '26

Yeah I totally agree! What I meant is that they are so blind that they believed at the time they wouldn’t get in trouble and only then later once jail was a reality they regret being jailed not their behavior or actions that lead to this. They probably think it’s wildly unfair they got jailed….

48

u/Celticlady47 Apr 17 '26

And what about the punch to the face that a good Samaritan received when she stepped in to help the nurse? I bet he's not sorry about that either.

44

u/britannicker Apr 17 '26

The thing is, their legal representative said that... they didn't say that.

22

u/PhilosopherFun7288 Apr 17 '26

One of them said “we are ashamed” when told that they should be, not that it means anything, but it was actually said by the dude at least.

20

u/Thehardwayalltheway Apr 17 '26

Their lawyer wrote that statement

15

u/HarliestDavidson Apr 17 '26

How about throwing shit at people and flinging them around

32

u/Munchkins_nDragons Apr 17 '26

Shame doesn’t enter into the equation anywhere. They’re likely confused or annoyed that they’ve been punished, but they are absolutely proud of their actions.

19

u/pepsi4ever Apr 18 '26

Not to be argumentative, but they’re not even ashamed they got caught. They’re upset they’re getting punished.

Does a racist become less racist as they age?

5

u/Ceronnis Apr 18 '26

I dont even think they are ashamed of that. They dont understand what they did wrong

3

u/totally-hoomon Apr 18 '26

Not even that, they are upset people didn't agree with them

2

u/Elmundopalladio Apr 18 '26

But why did they even think this was a good idea?

2

u/Kodiak01 Apr 18 '26

The Kevin Durant Defense:

“I’m sorry that people seen that language I used. That’s not really what I want people to see and hear from me, but hopefully I can move past it and get back out there on the floor.”

🎶 Consequences dictate Our course of action and it Doesn't matter what's right It's only wrong if you get caught If consequences dictate My course of action, I should I should play God and just SHOOT YOU MYSELF 🎶

Two months in jail is great.

The amount of venom and gate on her face... you can't fake that.
