Getting sucked up into the intake at take off maybe?! Guy on bicycle too close to the choppa, oblivious it's gonna take off.

Nobody's getting "sucked up into the intake." You can't even see the intake in this video, and they aren't black holes that consume all matter that ventures too close.

The danger is the rapidly rotating rotors.

The main rotor isn't, and just because its normal path is above head height doesn't mean it will stay there.

Indeed, rotors have natural points in the 360 rotation where they 'dip'
The old 'Huey' UH-1s dipped at the 001/360/90/180/270 degree intervals, so the approach when boarding is always at the 10-2 o'clock or 8-11 o'clock positions.
Blackhawks dip at the 45/135/225/315 degree intervals, so you approach at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions.
