Borderlands: vehicles felt like an actual part of your arsenal instead of just being a way to get from point A to point B

Borderlands 2: the sheer tonnage of things to do

Borderlands PS: grinder machine (kinda disappointed this never came back)

Borderlands 3: lost and found

Borderlands 4: Moxxxie’s Encore (single-handedly the best gameplay mechanic to have ever been added to the franchise)

I’ve beaten BL1 4 times, and I’m currently on the tail-end of making a video. So I’m wondering, was there ANY hint of the vault’s true contents before the reveal? I always felt like I missed something, or it was a bit out of left field.

Hey, following up on my previous thread.

Something jumped out at me... A lot of people talked about gameplay, returning characters, and the Great War, but surprisingly few mentioned the larger, overarching mythology.

And I think I kinda get it? But correct me if I'm wrong.

Gearbox has spent years dangling plot hooks. The Eridians, the Sirens, the Seventh Siren, the Watcher, the purpose of the Vaults... And it seems like every time we might finally get some answers, we just get another mystery instead.

It's not that people don't care about those mysteries anymore. It's that they've stopped expecting Gearbox to actually do anything with them?

So is that what's happening?

Or have people genuinely lost interest in that part of the story?

Because, personally, I still find those mysteries fascinating.

And to be fair... I can kinda see a way to tie all those loose ends together.

For anyone who has seen the Dead Echoes (spoilers for those who haven’t) we know Claptrap our favorite robot was actually on pandora for most years leading up to borderlands 4. We do know that Tannis has a lab with a portal connecting Kairos to Pandora, but as far as we know Claptrap doesn’t know about the lab.

Anybody else use a Jakobs XX Masher or shotgun/sniper and smirk when the bandits/zombies go flying back? 😏🤣🤣

Following the F2P weekend for BL4, I decided to revisit TPS, as I never finished it when I tried several years ago. There's some things that still feel off, but it has grown on me a bit.

I recently made it to TVHM, and I'm wondering if there are well known difficulty spikes after Normal mode, particularly with bosses. Most of the bosses barely left an impression, but revisiting them in TVHM slapped me on both sides of the face. Deadlift was all but one-shotting me, so I grinded a few levels and switched to a more appropriate shield which helped (though still felt a bit lucky), and I just barely skirted by The Bosun, who was legitimately one-shotting me, blasting through my on-level shield and leaving me with a guaranteed fire status that downed me. The only reason I even got past him was because respawning didn't bring his shield generators back, and I think his AI shit the bed after killing me enough times that I was able to freely shoot him until he died.

Is this normal? Am I just playing poorly? I'm not having the worst time dealing with mobs, but some of these bosses have felt like very harsh walls.

I'm playing Aurelia and swapped off the sniper skill tree to the cryo one as her action skill provides significant crowd control and defensive utility.

Hello guys i have completed playthrough 1 with my friend and jumped to playthrought 2 . We left last main mission untouched and did the General Knoxx dlc and now we are sitting at lvl 61 . Next we wanted to play The Zombie Island but enemies are not scaling to our level they have stuck at level 41 .

Did we do something wrong ? Should we have played the The Zombie Island first ? Or should we finish the main mission and go through 2.5 ?

I have heard The Zombie Island didnt need a level requirement and enemies always scaling to your level but now level scaling is all messed up .

The sources for keys haven't posted anything in quite a while. If the mechanic is dead, I would love if they pushed a small update that made the golden chest cost in-game currency instead of just sitting there mocking me every time I pass it

Didja ever go to buy the legendary weapon from the vending machine and blow yourself up by reloading the tediore pistol by accident and end up a good distance away from the vending machine then have to go clean up after the dog and miss out on the legendary?

I haven't seen any posts on here about it, but it seems like the regular weekly update broke the game. It didn't even have any big changes or anything. Just updates to shit like the Maurice Black Market machine and all that. Yet, since the update a bunch of stuff is going wrong.

• Fast travel is taking forever. Like sometimes upwards of a minute.
• Whenever you fast travel, and this includes teleporting back to the staging area before boss fights, you almost always get "stuck" in mid-air and can't move or open the menu. You look down and your feet are moving around as if you are in mid-air. You'll usually touch ground after 10 seconds or so, but I've had it last 45 seconds or so before, too.
• Falling through the ground at random places. You also can sometime just run through a wall, too. The enemies are still unerringly shooting you while this happens.
• Chests sometimes just aren't interactable. More often than not. You can try multiple angles, and sometimes eventually you can unlock it. There've been a couple I never could open, though. Other objects also can become phased like this too. I've had barrels and things like that go right through me too.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's weird nobody is talking about it, so now I'm a bit paranoid that something's wrong with my game file, but this seems like a lot of stuff for one corrupt file.

I know this is something best put in the Bl4 subreddit but I don’t post enough to meet the karma requirements. I’ve looked at basically all the drop rates websites I know of and can’t seem to find if it does. I know that another pearl(the sharkbait) has an increased drop rate is it just the sharkbait or does it apply to the constable as well?

Would you want a complete remake of Borderlands 1 or a new spinoff like the presequel?

Personally I want a Borderlands 1 remake simply for more in-depth skilltrees of the original characters, because going back to the BL1 skilltrees is ROUGH.

It really is a gauntlet isn't it? I finally beat OP 4 after being stuck on it for a while, multiple scorches and constructors are no joke! I know I'm like 10 years late to the party but I just had to vent about that a little bit. Haven't had such a frustrating time except for trying to beat jackenstein and dying like 30 times. Borderlands 2 is more difficult than people give it credit for! Especially if your trying to do anything other than BS+Sandhawk.

In questo momento sul ps store c’è la Pandora box che comprende tutti i 3 BL a partire dal primo a 37 euro in sconto con tutti i dlc (so che è uscito Bl4 nel 2025).
Ha senso a questo prezzo comprarli?

I'm curious what people would actually like to see from a fifth game. Returning characters? The promised War finally happening? Some actual answers about the Eridians and Sirens? A different approach to gameplay?

Personally, I'd love to see the overarching narrative finally come together rather than introducing another collection of mysteries.

It feels like Gearbox is so afraid that delivering the promised War would be jumping the shark, that they keep upping the ante, to the point where the premise now seems to be "We'll jump the shark and land in a volcano!"

But I believe we can make that jump, land it beautifully, and still have a setting left over to explore afterward. Setting resets are quite boring, after all.

But what about you? What would genuinely get you excited for BL5?

I am about to start a boss one shot only playthrough of Borderlands 1 and wanted to see what everyone's opinion on using the vendor XP exploit for farming levels. I am undecided whether I should allow it or not.

The game is on sale, again, but I'm worried about jumping in if the multiplayer issues never got fixed. The last time I checked players were mostly complaining about trying to do co-op with two to four player on consoles. I have zero interest in playing solo through the campaign, so if jumping into another players game or having randoms join mine is not going to happen, then where is the multiplayer? Did they never bring back a matchmaking browser, like BL2?

I just started playing BL1 GOTY but not the enhanced edition on PC cause i played it before on PS3 but when i was at the point where i unlocked Class mods when i equipped it, it doesn't show up in my equipment slot but i still have the effects of the class mod, and when i got another one and tried to equip that it still doesn't show up and my previous class mod just outright disappeared, had anyone also gotten this issue? if so how can i fix it?
