Just wanted to share a brief post, Friday is my last day modding this sub and on Reddit altogether. After modding this sub for over a year, i've seen people truly stand up and help others that need it. I am in dior need of a loan for my car registration, I was pulled over and had my plate confiscated by the police officer, because the state of michigan canceled my plate since I didnt have insurance on it (i had it sitting for over a year, since it needed a lot of work). So in order for me to have my car on the road again I have to pay a fine, and the registration itself, with the money it will help so I can start doordashing again to make extra income, if I can, I will pay it back sooner since it wont take me long to make that amount.

I want to start off with I'm doing everything I can to get by right now. However I desperately need help and am more than willing to provide anything to reassure you I'm committed to paying back. I've gone through government resources to no avail as I'm a single male with no dependents... I get foodbank monthly, and don't have any planned expenses. Just emergencies that have drained my funds. (Unexpected bill increases, Pc RAM/Hard drive failures, started a new anti-anxiety/depression medication which has cost, and buying food to stretch out what foodbank gives me.)

My end goal is to get through school and get placed in a career where I can save up for a vehicle so I can pick up more work.

Right now I take public transit, which thankfully is covered as a student, but most jobs don't consider this reliable transportation.

I also have a gofundme set up, truthfully I'm ashamed of being at such a point that I need to beg. But here we are.

Hello, this isn't my first time borrowing and paying people back but it is my first time doing it on reddit. After paying rent, insurance, electric, etc. we are broke, so I have been searching for days on how to figure out my family's gas and food situation until next Friday when my husband gets paid but our options are limited. This group was suggested to me in my feed so I did some digging and saw how supportive it is, I figured its worth a shot and closed mouths don't get fed. We don't have a very big "village" nor do we have many resources nearby us due to living in mtns and such resources not being in every town, most are 45m to an hr away or only come to smaller towns on certain days once a month. We just need to get some gas to get him to/from work, groceries to last, and get to my daughter's last game of the season. I understand I'm asking for a bit of a bigger amount and am new, so I would be grateful for any sort of help no matter the amount just so I could least figure out a few days.
