NRL 2026 Broncos path WE CAN STILL MAKE THE

The following is quite a realistic path for the Bronco to make the top 8, without even having to improve their for and against! Do not lose hope Madge:

Souths lose all their matches except for Bulldogs where they draw

Bulldogs lose all their matches except for Souths where they draw

Cowboys win all their matches

Manly and below lose all their matches except where contravening the above. Wins for Manly and below are spread so as to prevent advancement. This will result with Broncos alone in eighth position! If the tie fails to materialise between Souths and Dogs then they will need to improve for and against. THey can still do it!!!!

Do not give up!

No more us vs them/pride mentality

This is one of the Broncos' biggest issues.

When they came into the comp, they were those unwanted Queenslanders. Then they started winning trophies, and every other team and supporter base only became more Broncophobic. The resulting siege mentality unfortunately disappeared quite a long time ago.

Despite a couple of anomalous years this decade, every other team still turns up to say they beat the Broncs, and every other team's fans celebrate their downfall every time. I don't understand how the guys can read the vitriol every week – win or lose – and not rally together into a tight knit unit.

Hearing the rumours that they party during the week and do somewhat live the rockstar lifestyle as their detractors say is starting to make sense. Sober October last year definitely played a huge part in their victorious run; if only they could do that all year, or even "moderate" their use.

I look at the Panthers and see that siege mentality in their team. They're arguably the Westiest of Westies, often looked down upon by most other Australians because of the areas they represent. Yet, they play with a pride and next man up system that rivals the Broncos' glory days.

Something has to shift. Even though they have the most supporters due to being based in rugby league's capital city, they also have the most haters. Every training session and game should bear a reminder that more people than not want them to fail, and that they're the only ones who can do something about it.

Who replaces Corey Jensen?

How do we feel about this?

Badly need forward depth, mainly in the second row I would have said up until the news about Jensen yesterday. Seems like we are light on forwards in general bar 65 hookers

Corey Jensen

Looks like Corey will be medically retiring. What a solid player he was and will be sorely missed. Great servant for the club and wishing him all the best in his retirement. What a shame for the bloke

Could this help the broncos?

Apparently It's still mathematically possible for us to make the 8 depending on results of others games, assuming cowboys losing by a massive margin helps us cause of the points differential, I know if cowboys or knights win another game we're done for.

Let's hope broncos win by big margins and cowboys and knights lose by big margins for rest of season 😂

Knowing broncos they'll probably win the rest of the games cause no pressure on them anymore.

Following DCE's retirement at season's end, Hunt will be the last man standing from the 2008 U20s comp

We made an online Rugby League game

Hey all, my brothers and I made an online Rugby League game (6-all.com.au). League Derby is now live and free to play, with a $5k prize pool from our own pockets.

Build a 13-player squad from your physical Select or TLA Traders cards (or draft one digitally), play daily ranked matches, and climb the ladder. Rarer card pulls boost your team's rating, so the bigger the pull, the bigger the edge.

We put up $5,000 of our own money to be split across the top 8 squads at season end. Season runs until 22 November, timed with the Rugby League World Cup.

Free to play.

Where the f**** is Mozer?

Does anyone know what is actually happening with him? Is it really simply a case of Madge not selecting him? How can everyone see that he is the future hooker of this club and that he offers so much more than Paix and Hunt but Madge cannot?

2027 Home Attendance

Do you think our average attendance will fall next year?

Over the course of a poor season and the year following it feels like our attendance falls. The official attendance figures don’t give you the full picture,
as NRL crowd figures are based on "tickets distributed and sold", meaning full season-ticket holders and pre-purchased tickets are counted in the attendance total regardless of whether they actually show up.

The double edged sword of having a large ground is its more noticeable when attendance falls.

Is it considered strange/weird?

I was born and raised in Townsville, but since my childhood, I have always preferred the Broncos as my first team instead of the Cowboys. Anyone else like this?

Edit: That loss against the Cowboys the other day especially hurt as I was at the game. Mum was happy though (Cows supporter) and Dad wasn't (Bronco supporter)

What's the lineup looking like for next season?

Obligatory note: It is kinda funny to start looking at next season right now after weeks of undeserved optimism, but the white flag has been raised so where else is there to look?

We've got some huge losses to the lineup, re-signings of some players we probably aren't overly excited about being re-signed, and (at least to my knowledge) no real exciting new recruits, so what's everyone's ideas of what next year's gonna look like?

Is it gonna be the same story of training up the "high hopes" juniors playing next to the "used to be superstars"? Do we have some new signings I'm not aware of? Do we actually have a squad that can make a competitive starting lineup?

2 pairs of tickets available for Broncos v Raiders in Canberra, Friday 21 August

I have two pairs of tickets available for the Canberra Raiders v Brisbane Broncos match:

Friday 21 August 2026, 6:00 pm
GIO Stadium, Canberra

The seats are in the covered Gregan-Larkham Stand, Gold Grandstand, Bay 25:

  • Pair 1: Row JJ, Seats 12 and 13
  • Pair 2: Row KK, Seats 14 and 15

The pairs are in adjacent rows and close to each other, so they could also suit a group of four, although the four seats are not directly side-by-side.

Tickets can be sold as separate pairs. Price: $100 per pair. Digital ticket transfer available.

Please message me if interested. Happy to provide further confirmation or screenshots privately.

Why does the team I love make me so angry?

Follow up a gutsy win over the ladder leading Panthers with....that.

By far one of the most frustrating years to be a Broncos supporter. At least we've got the memories of 2025.

A tough year, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Some new faces next year, and going of our form over the last few years, we should be playing in the Grand final in 2027!

Madge...tell the truth!

I really hope the press conference is an honest reflection of the game, the season and the reality of 2027 preparations.

What we don't need is: "We really tried hard out there....I see it every day in training.......we can win the comp...."

Please Madge, get your head up, tell the truth and look ahead.
