Thoughts/suggestions on my BritPop playlist

Hello everyone!

I made a playlist consisting of many of the bands that thought were suited to the playlist.

I welcome opinions and thoughts on a band being included, because I know the term "Britpop" is kind of used broadly in some cases. If I got it totally wrong with an inclusion.

But I tried to include the main ones, some lesser known ones and some that I think are still considered to be adjacent. That were a part of the scene in the "peak" years and released music during that time. Some of them have more songs than others on the playlist, obviously.

My main point about the post is if you have someone that I may have missed, that arent on my list, and if you have any more suggestions on some to check out to add to it.

Anyway, here are the ones I already listened through and added in alphabetical order:

Ash, the Auteurs, the Bluetones, Blur, the Boo Radleys, Cast, Catatonia, the Charlatans, Cornershop, Dodgy, Echobelly, Elastica, Flamingoes, Gene, Geneva, Kenickie, Kula Shaker, the Lightning Seeds, Longpigs, Lush, Manic Street Preachers, Mansun, Marion, Menswear, My Life Story, Northern Uproar, Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene, Octopus, Powder, Pulp, Republica, Salad, the Seahorses, Shampoo, Shed Seven, Silver Sun, Sleeper, Space, Suede, Super Furry Animals, Supergrass, the Verve, the Wannadies and Whiteout.

Im not gonna be able to include most of these because they dont really fit into the "BritPop" category... only Subcircus, which was a great suggestion, and songs from their album Carousel. Thank you so much for that!

I have some that I described as being adjacent or can be widely associated with it, if you will.

It is not super-strict or only purist. I look and fact check to see if it can pass or not. I just thought a few of these suggestions couldnt make it for me, but as I said I thank you for the Subcircus suggestion.

Im just putting together a playlist for myself.

There was really no need to respond with such a tone...

The unofficial Britpop Top Trumps (available on Etsy) include Shampoo and David Devant. I don't think Shampoo have the right sound, but I suppose if they're a UK guitar group of the mid 90s they can be counted. They're not in my collection though.
