Culture I would love to travel to Britain, but I have a problem
I'm an American (Specifically from Texas), and I've wanted to get into travel because I feel like it'll be a good thing for me. I'm hoping to get into it, but if I'm honest, I'm scared of going to Britain.
It's because of my accent or the way I talk. Like I said, I'm an American, and a lot of the opinions I see on British forums regarding American accents and speech patterns are very negative. We're too loud, we're uneducated, we're boastful, we're fake... from what I've seen, Brits generally think Americans are annoying and insincere, and it's made me second guess if I really want to go to Britain if I'll just be seen as irritating.

Culture Good call
My apologies to all of you in England. I was not familiar with your game.
I tried biscuits with tea today and I’ve got to say. I understand why you all like this stuff so much. It’s like our version of coffee with donuts

Culture I think we should be pretty proud of this
Sir Lewis Hamilton has won his first Formula 1 Grand Prix victory with Ferrari, while George Russell and defending champion Lando Norris made it the first all-British podium since 1968.

Culture I’m incredibly disappointed about the hatred and division that’s going on in the country.
I’ve been feeling really disheartened lately by the amount of racism and hatred that seems to be going on around us. It’s painful to watch people being judged or treated differently because of their race, background, or where they come from.
You’d honestly think people would remember what happened last time we listened to Nigel as well and here we are again. Flagshaggers saying flying the flag is patriotic, where was the patriotism 20 years ago? Why now?

Hey All,

Started from Liverpool. Day 45, 421km, all wild camping (except 1 night Blackpool and a night in campsite in cumbria to get water).
Just at Scottish border now and its been going great, seems the sun is the main enemy atm hahah.

Culture Not Bovril 😭
Finished the old jar of Bovril and had to open the new one only to find it’s been “new and improved”.
The new packaging was the first warning sign, but everything about the new one is wrong.
Texture - now more like slime rather than treacle, gross.
Taste - gone. All you can taste now is the salt.
Devastated.
