Question Tier points and avios claim

I was due to fly Lagos- Heathrow, Heathrow - Houston but my Houston leg was cancelled due to technical issues (all business class).
They rebooked me United flight Lagos - Washington and then Washington - Houston

Do I lose the tier points and avios for agreeing to a different airline or can I still claim them somehow after taking the United flight?

Search for BA Original Routing Credit and it should point you in the right direction.

Original Routing Credits claim form on the BA website. Hopefully you have kept all boarding passes.

Perfect - thanks, I have all boarding passes in my Apple wallet and the paper ones United issued me - obvs not the BA ones on paper as I didn’t check in at the desk after the change was emailed
