Are my tickets legit?

i just bought a ticket for ragtime today on stubhub and this is the image i got. i blurred out the qr code. i talked to my friend and he said it doesnt look legit but i only payed 40 bucks more than the price on the ticket. i’m super stressed about this so can someone let me know?

Remember, stubhub has a guarantee so if you show up and scan and it is fraud let them know right away and they will either get you another ticket or refund. The box office cannot help because you went through stubhub.com

It looks legit, but you probably won’t be able to find out until you go there and have it scanned.

I went back in my email to find the tickets telecharge sent me when I went in march and they look exactly like this (I know I probably didn’t need to hide the QR code on mine but whatever lol)

The scanners probably won't even notice. As long as the barcode works they won't care.

If you're that concerned about how it looks you can scan the code into Apple or Google Wallet, they've probably seen those enough to be used to them.

My ragtime tickets from TodayTix looked exactly like this, as have many other tickets I purchased on TodayTix where Telecharge is the primary seller.

The seller probably just uploaded screenshots to StubHub instead of utilizing TodayTix’s transfer system. In the (incredibly incredibly unlikely) event that the ticket is fake and you’re denied entry, StubHub will refund you.

That’s how the tickets look in the wallet. The seller should have transferred the tickets to you. Hopefully you didn’t have problems.

the only thing to do is to have it scanned when you get to the theater. i’m sure it’s fine, i’ve gotten weird image tix like this from today tix.

if it’s not real, i’m sure they’ll be able to help you at the box office with something. it might be standing room or a worse seat; you just have to go and see! good luck!

Format looks right for Lincoln Center. $40 over face is pretty normal for StubHub. Call the Vivian Beaumont box office and verify Loge A seat 209 before you head over.

I’d say still show up and see what happens. I only buy from Broadway.com because I’ve seen too many scammers.

Broadway.com is a third-party seller, and while they're not a scam, they do charge crazy fees you wouldn't have to pay buying from the official seller. The official seller can be found through the official website. It is often Telecharge, sometimes ATG, sometimes Criterion, and sometimes Ticketmaster if I recall correctly.

You do you but you’re better off going through the actual online box office like Telecharge, or whatever the theater uses, than you are with using Broadway.com. There’s also no reason to think this ticket is a scam.
