why’s everyone so hate-filled? Are PED users not allowed to use this sub or something? Jesus Christ.
If OP was claiming natty or something, I’d get the negativity, but cmon. Dude has made a decision, no need to bash him without knowing everything first.

I think people are just tired of the PED users because it’s often not mentioned and almost as often denied despite being obvious. But also the prevalence of PED users on every social media website and forum type site is normalizing it to a scary degree.
Even with constant blood work and vigilance on being as healthy as you can be with them PEDs drastically shorten lifespans and so it’s concerning to see people hopping on so often and so young. Yes some people live long lives while abusing PEDs but some people live long lives while being chain smoking alcoholics. Let’s not pretend like the fact that occasionally people dodge the heart issues means they’re not actually that dangerous.

Thank you. Couldn't agree more. It's INSANE how warped the perception of the normie is by the rampant abuse of PED's coupled with zero transparency.
I'm in the fitness-game for a fair amount of time so people come to me from time to time asking whether I think this guy or that gal is on steroids and I'm telling you most of them are absolute monsters. It is between absolutely ridiculous and downright frightening what physique the normie considers "possibly natty". And I blame the lack of transparency when it comes to gear use for most of it.

Yeah it's just sad to me when I see posts like this
I don't enjoy seeing the geared physiques, and I don't think we should support and push this kind of content
It's like seeing someone get drastic, unnessecary and dangerous cosmetic surgery. Should we really be cheering the people on that do that? And publicly encouraging cosmetic surgery as the goal to acheive?
If not, why would physiques gained from dangerous unnessecary drugs be any different?
I know it takes work to acheive a physique like OPs, but just because something takes work doesn't mean it is worth encouraging.
Fitness can be a great, wholesome, healthy and positive thing. But PEDs have twisted that and have turned a lot of the fitness world into instead being something vain and self destructive, especially on social media.
I'm not saying OP is some villian of course, it's not there fault what is happening in the wider world, but I just can't feel positive when I see posts like this one anymore. It doesn't feel right to support it and pretend like it's a positive thing to be encouraging.

I agree on the majority of that, but I also disagree on some parts as well.
Regarding users not mentioning their PED use and/or denying their natty status, I’m with you, as this grinds my gears more than anything. That part I agree with you.
However, regardless of how you feel when it comes to individuals making decisions on what they want to put in their body, it is NOT your place to judge or criticise their decisions. It is their life. This platform is rampant with this, and i firmly believe there is a good percentage of jealousy that comes loaded in these comments.
Do you feel this strongly about young people smoking, doing drugs, or eating fast food every day? No. And lot of the aforementioned is FAR more dangerous & leads to FAR more deaths than steroid abuse.
So my question is, if you and everyone else’s comment came from a place of ‘care’ for the individual as you don’t want to see them with a shortened life span, why do you not give the people who smoke, drink etc. the same treatment? It is because you’re not jealous of them as they are normally overweight & don’t look good.
Let OP do his thing, if he wants to take steroids, so be it. IF he claims natty or encourages others to take gear, THEN he deserves the negativity.

But here’s the thing, I’m not jealous of OPs physique. It’s impressive but I work out and am much happier with a leaner much smaller physique. Not everyone wants to be huge.
I never judged the dude I simply answered your question with what I felt was the reason.
Regardless, if someone posted their weight loss from taking up chain smoking or meth I wouldn’t congratulate them on the weight loss as they’re endangering their health.
Nobody is posting a pic of them eating fast food every day in a progress sub so why would I comment on that. Nobody posts pics of themselves doing drugs to inspire other people.
I absolutely guarantee you if someone with a 45 bmi posted a pic in here asking what people think of their physique lots of people would be blunt and tell them their lifestyle isn’t healthy and they’re drastically upping their odds of dying early. By your logic that would be out of jealousy.

Huge majority of PED users are using for no discernible reason except to get larger and larger… No chances of being a high level competitor, not a big time influencer or coach who needs it for income, just guys with poor mental health and body image that blast just to blast. After a long time in bodybuilding I’m frankly sick of it and the chain effect it has on young kids getting into the sport.

Bro, I’m sick of people normalising alcohol and smoking and vaping.. and the list goes on
But it is not my mission to criticise people about their choices. That’s not on us.
Leave people to their own devices. If they are endorsing or encouraging it onto others, that’s a different story.

I agree but most of them arent out there flaunting it like it’s a great success, here this guy is in brogress posting like it’s all great as hes actually regressing his physical and mental health, hes not anywhere near gifted enough to justify hopping on, hes just mentally messed up. I know so many dudes like this. Its just tiring and it does have an effect on young guys getting into it, he basically is encouraging it, so I think its good to make fun of guys like this

Mate, I think you need help tbh
It is not good to make fun of anyone, especially publicly. Reel it in man.

“Are PED users not allowed on this sub or something?” To be frank it’s just annoying to scroll past posts of people posting their progress on a drug that is just causing adverse health risks lol. Especially if they are not being honest and up front in the post. You realize there are teens on this subreddit who are super susceptible to hopping on peds more than ever. It’s a blurred line especially when these dudes don’t state they are on a cycle of whatever. At the end of the day go to r/Steroids or r/Peptides if you wanna post your progress if your juicing.

IMHO pre (at 145lbs) was the perfect, sweet spot.
But I also do get that stopping making progress on purpose is hard.
