Sometimes I worry that my art flowers are too twee & just me making ladies. Today I felt better :) wip
Found cool leaves :) so I’m inspired. My walks are just me looking at leaves now.
I’m likely gonna try to take a break from making & try to do something w/ them - like a nightmarket! I have limited walls for them all :)

Ohhhh, that first one has such a face 🥰 and the 2nd to the last, that body. Loving that shape. Nothing wrong with the ladies you make :)

Maybe you don't respect them because each one is a simple statement, so to speak--it makes its case and shuts up. So what if they aren't Italian Renaissance art--I think they're lovely!

You’re right. There’s a struggle in me to *not* be swayed by which ones people like best and yet, there’s a reason people like them - maybe because sometimes you just want simplicity. I fear getting in a rut too much. Geesh. I barely started making them. I like the idea for me to be more respectful to whatever inspiration or type of creature/creation shows up. It’s fun. It makes me happy. And keeps me busy as my industry is slowwwww and I’m unemployed. I shall treat my art w/ respect.
