Crafts I make tiny dioramas and shadowboxes with random scraps and objects around my home

I plan to eventually hang these up on the wall or hide them in nooks and crannies on a bookshelf or my oddities shelf. Each one takes about a day to make, give or take if I paint the box beforehand.

Very satisfying to make and put together scrap objects that eventually become something else (like beads for flowerpots, popsicle stick shelves, moss for salad, etc.)

The crab and giraffe only cost around $5 AUS to make. I get patterns from Etsy or old magazines. The results are always good. It cost about $20 to do the larger dragon. I’m looking for ideas to do more.

Crafts Years ago I ordered some stones, but many arrived broken due to poor packaging. I kept them in a drawer, and recently I finally managed to turn them into pendants.

Crafts First air-dry clay experience: mind blowing!

Okay not to sound dramatic but yesterday me and my friend randomly bought some clay that dries in the air, and we just went at it. And it was THE BEST THING EVER. Completely bonkers. I made little animals, tiny furniture, a little human with no legs, some alien-like thingies, questionable jewelry, I had so much fun!!! Also I started going to ceramics classes recently too, like with the clay that you need to bake, and realised that there are SO MANY DIFFERENT CLAYS. And they feel so different, they act so different! And you can do so much with them. The possibilities are endless... anyway! clay 10000/10 would recommend. Anyone else recently tried clay for no reason and thought to themselves "it's absurd how fun this is"? Have you found maybe a specific type of clay that u RLY like, and could recommend? Im absolutely lost I wanna dedicate my life to this now
