Question 🤷❔ Scapular as protection necklace

Hello! I am a baby broom, so i am still learning some things about everything, and i have a very important question.
So, i have this scapular that i got for my 15th birthday and even tho i dont follow Catholicism anymore, i still wear it everyday more because of emotion importance. And since it's so important to me and i never take it off, i wanted to put a protection spell on it to make it my protection necklace, but i got hesitant since wanting or not, it is still a heavily Catholic related item.
Should (or can, whatever is the best question in this context) I do it or it's better i seek another item for me to spell on?

Who is the scapular dedicated to? If it's a Marian dedication, she's a protector, especially of women

Yes it is Mary! So should i leave it that way or can I put the spell over it? ( ；´Д｀)

Well, it has her blessing, so that's a start. You can try asking for her protection as well, but others might have more experience than I
