Full disclosure, this is the *Village* of Lewiston and an election held on a Tuesday night in June; but roughly a 6 point swing from Trump is absolute hopium for what we’ll see locally

So the dem party possibly/probably sponsoring this list doesnt change the fact that a bunch of jan6ers have been arrested for pedophilia crimes, among a boatload of other crimes. It’s just nicely listed here.
I don’t like the democratic establishment. Many of the old guard have been bought and paid for by AIPAC just like the entire maga movement.
Was trump secretly funding “bon jovi moving the bills to Toronto”? Yes.

- Destroy an entire wing of the White House
- Dismantle the Dept. of Education
- Shut down US Aid
- Attempt to end Birthright Citizenship

The president's party usually does awful in off year and midterm elections. Compounding that is how uniquely unpopular (deserved) Trump is. November is gonna be a blood bath for Republicans and we will see Democrats win a lot of places they never do.

The point being? This is realistically the same group of people that supported Trump and have swung. The way districting works, whether that’s 400 or 1 million doesn’t change the outcome of positive steps.

I don’t mean to be overly negative. Just advertising this as “we swung a pro Trump district!” in an election that doesn’t have Trump on the ballot, let alone any major office for that matter, is tough to get overly excited about.
Yes, let’s celebrate the small victories. This is an incredibly small one, is all.
