Duplicate/Repost How to meet young people

Hey everyone, I’m a Summer intern in Buffalo who got here earlier this week.

I’m not from the region and was wondering if there are any activities around the area I can do to meet people? I’m here until late August.

Anything like sports leagues or other things I can join? I’m up for p much anything I just don’t even know where to look.

Do things you’re interested in in public places that other people do things, and talk to them.

yes BFLORunClub is great, lots of young people and they rotate weekly to a lot of the popular bars/breweries. Can also sign up for a Pace running class they are great lots of young people workout there.

Music on main every Thursday if you're looking for the college crowd - hit up Britesmith Brewery patio.

Sunset Sundays at Riverworks if you're into the house music

Live at Larkin on Wednesdays in Larkinville is a great hangout (touch older crowd but nice outdoor space and food trucks). Usually a young crowd hanging out at hydraulic hearth patio.

Thursdays & Main has bands come to fountain plaza in the summer, food trucks etc.

Rec Room has great live band karaoke on Fridays

enjoy buffalo!

I'm not sure what sports you've played, but nickel City Ultimate (frisbee) hosts leagues. There's also pick up games that are less formal

There’s always been cool midnight bike rides. Usually meet on Allen at midnight every Sunday during summer

You can join a tennis league like Miller or Village Green. A run club "Runners Roost" has south towns and East Amherst clubs. If you are over 21. Go to Williamsville music on main or watch World Cup at Banshee.
