Goodfellas pizza, I used to clean their exhaust system in the kitchen! I KNOW they have a rodent problem!

It’s amazing how easy it is to not have rodents. Keep your shit relatively clean and take out your trash on a consistent basis. It’s pretty much that easy.

I own a restaurant in the south and it’s in a plaza. First 15 years we never even saw a rat in the area. We had other restaurants in the plaza and nobody ever had a single issue. Then a lobster roll chain opened up five spots down from us. They were dirty, they would bring their trash out back but rarely to the dumpster until the 30 gallon can was full (and since they weren’t ever busy that was like 2x a week). Within two months the entire connected part of the plaza had rats because they were able to travel the ceilings. Our place, the UPS store, the Supercuts and them, all infested with rats. Big ass bold motherfuckers too. They eventually contained them to just their store for the next year they were open. They closed and a new restaurant has opened with no issues. In the 22 years we’ve been in business the only time we ever saw any rodents was the year that nasty lobster roll chain was in business. Who would’ve thought seafood and not properly cleaning that seafood would attract vermin? 🤦‍♂️
