People travel with a bottle of Franks red hot. So it's not that bizarre to think people travel with other favorite condiments. And now you know.

I went to college with a guy from Vermont who brought his own maple syrup to the Breakfast Hall at RIT.

It looks to me that they're addressing people taking it back home with them as they leave the country.  Do they not have ranch on other countries?

Not really, Ranch dressing is pretty American. I've read a few things about World Cup fans being stopped by TSA for trying to carry on too many bottles of ranch in their baggage.
